ROM with Keyboard fix?
 

My keyboard is still lagging with some of the supposed fixes around don't seem to work.
Most of the lag I get is in the SMS app.
Any ROMs out there that you can confirm FIXES the hardware keyboard problem?
this lag actually makes me want to use the onscreen keyboard whenever texting >.<

I feel your pain.I tried those other so called fixes to no prevail
seems like the ONLY keyboard lag i get is from the SMS program,pretty fine in other programs. but if u use the older codyppc SMS version(before windows came with built in threaded) you'll have 0 lag

The only reason why i dont use the old SMS to get rid of lag is because i use visual voicemail and the sms it sends to cody wont recognize it and activate my voicemail

i hear some say they lag is fixed in the new 0.7 version of Dreams rom so i might try that today just to see

i'mma start off on dreams ROM first. or maybe he can let me know what he did to fix it so i can cook it into my own ROM.

Ah, I haven't used Juicy's rom yet. I'm liking dreams ROM so far.
I might try Juicy's in a bit to see how well it handles the old manilla with the animations.

I've been thinking about whether or not I should try your ROM lately.
I just think it would be too much work for me to get all of the graphics back to stock on your ROM ^.^

Tried dreams rom, its nice, but still has lag. I have yet to see a ROM with 0 lag using the default SMS that comes with windows 6.1

for juicy and meridins, just create a text message, and just hit 2 keys real fast about 30 times, u telling me it displays the letters INSTANTLY and you dont have to wait to catch up? Further more i use pocket controller to disply my phone on my computer, therefore I type with my desktop keyboard and i type 95 words a minute, theres where I see super lag and a lot of catching up the screen has to do.

For juicy/merdin are you tellin me theres 0 lag either way?

Any cabs floating around for these "fixes" ?
