hmmm, over my head. How do I go about that. I am a quick learner... ;) So far I deleted the preloader files from the Windows folder, that seemed to have done the trick...

I flashed Juggalos ROM, then tried installing the 15223 Oera build from this ROM. Although it did take it, now Opera loads on it's own even after I close it. :(

Same here, I even tried killing process with dotfred, but process pops right back up. Also the widgets tabs bring up a bad link.

I was getting the same error, but I got it to install when i used the DotFred task Manager, as mentioned above, and killed both Opera and opera preloader

Alright for those having problems you might need a different task manager like dotfreds

You have to kill the original processes install it, then using a registry editor go to HKEY current user/software or whatever it is until you see HTC then it will say boot launcher or something of the sort. Delete the opera key there, soft reset and it shouldn't restart anymore.

Two questions though:

1. The drivers definitely made my phone faster and this new opera is really slick, but is the flashlite to play videos in Opera?

2. If so, what confirmed sites work? Veoh, for example, now loads the video but still says i need latest flash, but I was using TCPMP usually for that in IE so any info?

I'm running Juggalo's latest rom btw.

I very much appreciate all the work everyone puts into new candy for our devises. And I love getting the latest and greatest. But I have to ask, what is the benefit of this build? From what I can tell there are lots of drawbacks:

1. Could not zoom with my d-pad
2. Opens to blank page, not my homepage
3. Opens by itself (I see that there is a hack to correct this)
4. G-sensor does not work

I'm running 9.5 b2649 right now, so why whould I want to switch to this build?

(Again, thanks for all of your contributions, I'm just trying to figure this out)

if you have installed over top of the opera built in the preloader is messing with it

this version does not support the preloaded. delete the bootlauncher keys in the HTC boot launcher pertaining to opera preload.

How do you go about doing this?

From above (this worked for me, I used the PHM registry editor):

You have to kill the original processes install it, then using a registry editor go to HKEY current user/software or whatever it is until you see HTC then it will say boot launcher or something of the sort. Delete the opera key there, soft reset and it shouldn't restart anymore.
