Could you go into your device and click file explorer, click on the windows directory on your device. Tell me how many seconds does it take to load... For the fluke rom it half a sec, sometimes i don't even see the beach ball.. lol.... The fluke rom is running perfect but the stupid weather in TF3D says IDS_DETAIL for one of the soft keys.. grrr....

EPIC! You got a beachball rom!

Mine takes about 5 seconds for the windows directory to load up. This is the fastest I've seen on my tp. I knew that something wasn't right when it would take anywhere from 30-60 seconds at first.

Five second is still really slow..... Allot of the rom i flash is under 2 second, the fluke rom is about half a second the most. it just appear for a sec and whole windows directory loads.

It finally booted... make this short..... my phone is fast as hell, everytime i flash a new rom, i click on the windows directory just to check how fast it load. I don't even see the beach ball pop up ( this is after i install my programs)... my rom was filled with errors because it didn't load the customization. But, i was wondering if this ever happen to anybody. Seriously i have used and flash every rom at ppcgeeks and the rom i accidently build is super fast. :headbang: I think it's a FLUKE..

are you able to change themes, and/or install cab files. Also whos kitchen did you use for the actual cooking?

How about counting all the files and folders in /windows and reporting how many files/subfolders are in there so you could compare load times to a "slow" ROM?

its possible that this "fluke" rom does not have as many files and subfolders in the directory causing /windows folder to load faster.

With the fluke rom, i was able to do everything, it just look all messed up when i first flash it. I mix and match sys from cal gc and erice. I am trying to mimic the fluke rom so i can post it and let people see what i am talking about. Dream your rom is dope but to be honest i think your last build was faster.

Sorry i am not too sure how many files are in each. But when i install all my programs( about 20), the load time in windows is less then half a sec. I

Re: Build a ROM... A Fluke?

I have 3,822 files in my windows directory. LOL I selected all and hit delete and it will ask you if you sure that you want to delete X# of files. Of course I put no.

I am not responsible if you click yes and delete everything.
