Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

First off, thank to Lil Rico for helping me out.

Heres the details.
Successfully unlocked (hardspl) the phone, ran Juicy's rom.
everything worked.
Then, Hard Reset.. just messed everything up.

Phone hung at the touchpro boot screen with the red lettering at the bottom.

Thinking the hardspl/rom was the problem, i ran the stock telus rom through - still stuck. Relocked the phone, still stuck

Basically now, I am unable to run anything through - any RUU will get stuck at 0% along with the phone

Me and Lil Rico found that I had R NONE - no radio.

I am unable to boot ANY thing, through usb or mircosd method.

Phone is capable to enter bootload, shows .0000 - not .cmonex
If resetted, phone only shows "TouchPro" along with red letters. Goes no further.

Is there any way to fix this, possibly unlock it again - and throw in the radio?

also, when i try to load anything through microsd
i get stuck at "loading..." screen.

Re: Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

first flash a radio, the phone won't boot without a radio, then flash to stock

We tried to get the radio to flash.... To no avail... I was thinking that if the phone has a hardSPL or is locked, the radio would flash anyways, but for some reason the radio wont flash. Also to note, we tried to unlock the phone again using the hard SPL and it also wont finish :( I'm lost for ideas....

Re: Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

manually put it into boot loader mode, turn the phone off and hold vol down and power until three bars come up

then flash the radio, then the rom

We have already tried that and it doesn't work... We have been trying to flash from the SD card, formatted at FAT32 and renaming everything to RAPHIMG.nbh and locating the file on the root directory of the Storage card. It starts the process, but stays at 0%

you manually put it there, not like run ruu.exe?

have you tried to hard reset it through the buttons?

yea, we've done those.

Re: Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

take it in and call it defective... tell them you woke up and it just wouldn't boot

or manual boot loader, unlock it...

mmm... don't know what else it could be... so since it locks on that loading screen i assume no active sync or my mobiler?

Re: Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

works in active sync. i also tried running hardspl/roms through a different computer.

I'd run the relocker and then take it in and tell them you woke up and it now won't boot. Unfortunately you're pretty much dead in the water if the SD radio flash method won't work from the SD card. I have always thought that there was some hope as long as you can get it to the bootloader mode, but maybe I am wrong in that, given your situation. Have you tried downloading a different radio?

See if you can flash the OEM Sprint ROM to your device since it's signed. You wont be able to flash anything unsigned from the bootloader since it's locked (.0000 not comex). I'm not sure if another carriers Shipped ROM with work but it's worth a try. If it does then you need to run the unlocker and you will be able to do whatever setup you want.

Destroy it and then lie and commit fraud. Another fine PPCGeeks citizen.

This is what I advised also.....was very surprised it would not work...I know the hardspl to hardspl will not flash unless it is signed....I could not believe it would not take from the stock...always did on the Titan....

There are no refurbs yet....

Anyway, why the hell would you relock the phone if you can't get anything to flash? That just seals your fate even more.

oh really? you just must know the whole production of the phone ay?

i decided to go back to stock, and to relock - to make sure they can't see ".cmonex" on bootloader. :disgust:

Re: Unable to Boot OS, No Radio

Try a different card. I have a few cards correctly formatted and only 2 of 4 work. Kinda crazy odds.

Edit: the fact that it goes to 0% means that it is probably reading the card. Try the tellus radio from juggalo's post. I know that radio works.

Edit II: Read before posting FTW. Nevermind.
