Another question... how the heck do I use the HTC Text Selection? lol. I go into a SMS convo in manila but cant select anything...

Hey Calk,

Quick question....I moved your updated packages, OEM's, SYS's, and XIP's into an older kitchen that I've just kept updating with your updates and now all the sudden I'm having issues with new builds and older builds. When using the new 21876, 23506 etc. I get a bad theme where the start menu smears and changing the theme doesn't fix and with everything I build it always tries to do the hands free activation.

Any Ideas?? Thanks

okay, cooking another rom as we speak w/:

• ezinput 2.0 (to fix the compact qwerty)
• trying the htc messaging client to see if the htc text selection works
• fixed the app.dat for the lockscreen application launcher (to fix the wm 6.5 lockscreen not showing)

i will update you guys asap....

Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference between 21869 and 21876? Cooked a ROM in the last kitchen that is running nice and smooth and I feel no need to update unless there are any good changes!

If nothing is too big, I'll just wait til 2.5 is running smoothly and try that out.

Okay tried it and failed....

• ezinput 2.0 doesn't have the Compact QWERTY option. Back to 1.5 and FingerKeyboard.
• The HTC messaging client is buggy and the text selection lets you highlight okay, but wont give you the option to copy/paste/etc. Back to standard SMS and Arcsoft.
• The change to the lockscreen application launcher app.dat seemed to show the wm 6.5 lockscreen, but the notifications don't always show up. Back to S2U2.
