OK, after I hard reset and tried my mp3 ringtones b4 making any changes you guys are corerct my problem is not caused by the rom it has to be some change I made.

I've successfully cooked my first ROM with this kitchen and now want to try to get a little fancy(well not fancy...I just want to try to tweak it some) My question is, what no2chem module contains the fastcharge driver? Any assistance would be appreciated...

I believe Calcu said it was the "simple" one...in BuildOS it is right below the 1% battery option. I think.... not at home so I can't verify. You can check the .rgu and see if the reg option is there. If it is, that is the one.

Kitchen or pre built rom? I know it works in the kitchen because I personally found an issue where Youtube would not even start and Calcu fixed it before his 1.3 release. I am happily watching Youtube as we speak so...I would consider other reasons for it not working.

So it's official, Youtube does work.

i tried his already cooked rom for sprint and also used the kitchen and still cannot get youtube to play video clips
i am using sprint settings

Then I have to say it's your phone or your service. Youtube is working just fine for me. I do recall I had a problem initially that gave me an error. It had to do with modulizing the drivers....I thought anyway. Calcu said there had been issues previously with this. At first when I got the error this was my first thought that maybe this is why I am having Youtube problems. However I soft reset the phone and had no problems any more. Since yesterday, I have cooked 3 more roms (for various tests with picture mail) and I have not had a problem since with Youtube and I am still running a modulized d3d driver. Calcu on the other hand is NOT because of previous problems.

So just to sum it up, your phone or your service is the problem, not the rom or the kitchen.

Youtube works with the kitchen. Also, with the vx6850 it seems like I am getting instant GPS locks even inside a building where before I could only lock outside. No primer necessary. Great job Calkulin!
