PPCGeeks - [ Discontinued ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs

The 234xx precooked rom currently posted wont allow tasks or calendar entries. When you select the date the same crappy date picker comes up and then when you select the date it goes to a blank screen and locks the app up. is this happening on kitchen cooked or 23oxx series?

I got the same problem on precooked rom 23060.
I flashed twice to be sure it was not a one shot glitch...
Hope we find a fix, it is a bit disturbing!

How would I go about making a cab of the mp3 trimmer app I like the new look and it is one of the items I Uc in

First let me say that this is one of the best roms that I have tried. I was having the same problem after installing MS 3.5, I removed the showcasesuite.lnk now i don't have a start button, what i did was remap the Send Key(hold) to "start menu" for now until i can find something better. any advise?

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to use WinCe Cab Manager. It's not free, but there is a trial period for testing.

Hey Calk, could you put Marketplace in your next rom? Or does anyone have a cab for the market place so I can install it on mine?

I was having the same issue, what i did was delete the htc framework in the OEM->Touch_pro->common folder and then place this HTC framework package that has been resized for VGA in the EXT folder. credit goes to programatix over at xda for resizing the package

anybody got the MarketPlace working? I didn't cook it in on my last flash cause I figured there would be a DL link to the CAB. Anybody got any ideas?

The http://client.marketplace.windowsmobile.com/ just brings me to the "Coming Soon" screen.

I hope it works with 6.5.1!
