i cant find any instructions on using the kitchen, such as what can be selected together and what not, what each option is - some description so that i can decide if i need it or not, etc.

manila rhodium 2.1 with the manila rhodium 2.1 engine and enlarge start menu checked no top curtain...semi clear bottom curtain are the only options i have checked...

Did you select the enable manila start menu manila option or use the cab in system tools to enable it?

ok so i played around with the files abit and got it to work proper now no matter which dialer i choose i cannot get the dialing codes to work...as i dial in ##786# the epst screen flashes then goes right back to the dial pad...which is another issue...i chose just the standard dial pad but as each button is pressed its showing a second skin behind it...even with diasabling the skin i cannot get the codes to work...any suggestions?

I can not get the cursor to work on the contact card...I can't even quit it as it does not accept my yes or no when it asks me do I want to save changes...Does anyone else have this problem or can someone point me to what package might be the cause of this?
Maybe it is R1.1 of Manila because I didn't have this issue when I cooked in R1!

Most of your confusion comes from the Manila I gather...
Just make sure you select options that go with the Manila you want to run. If you select Manila 2.1 then only select options that are in the Manila ALL or Manila 2.1 sections...

As for the rest Most things go with everything else...the exceptions say check one only in which case you have to select only one item in that section (quite self explanatory really)

I suggest of your new to cooking with a kitchen to start off with the defaults and slowy add items to see if there are any conflicts with them.

If you don't know what something is then search for it here or at xda and see what the program does and what programs it doesn't like

there was an issue with the contact card that a fix was posted for...it was also updated in the latest download on the first page.

I'll have to check but I was using the updated 8-22 kitchen which I thought had the fix in it...
have the fix here so I'll try copying over the fix files and see if that has any effect.

Maybe I got caught up in between uploads of the fix...
