The problem with Clear storage was that the .exe was missing from teh windows folder. Unzip the attached file and drop into your phones windows folder. Soft reset and the link to Clear storage should work again.

Woke up this morning and had no start menu icons. they were all non-working "generic" ones.
Had to soft rest which did a hard reset.

Then it wouldn't pass the alignment screen until I did a hard reset purposely.

I went back to 20954 last night.

Odd, was that from the pre built rom or a rom you cooked up in the kitchen? So far, I have not had any additional issues. I replaced clearstorage.exe and used the GPS drivers form eRice's kitchen, cooked and flashed. Today all is running well.

I did convert those GPS drivers to modules last night...I also accidently converted ALL of the .dll's in OEMDrivers folder to modules...by accident. However, I went ahead and cooked/flashed and found that GPS wasn't working again. So I am wondering if it was the drivers or the fact they were modules that caused the issue.

Are you using Inbox Menu Extensibility OEM or cab that I had in the previous kitchens? Because I have noticed, all my problems like the ones you described, started when I started using that OEM. Yesterday, I decided to use it again while I was testing 21009 and as soon as I flashed with that file, within the first 5 mins, my menu got corrupt, etc. Then flashed again without it and no problems since

Also an FYI for everyone, for the final release, I'm staying with 21109, as 21009 is slower and has some very weird problems, like setting to vibrate turns off the ringer instead and has some GUI problem I saw. So hex'd or not, it runs smooth and stable, unlike the "true" 21009 from what I saw

Holy Crap!

I loaded the sprint preview ROM and I cannot believe this is a "preview." This build finally was the one that made my TP what I thought it was supposed to be from the beginning!! The speed is amazing and the battery performance seems slightly improved from my previously tweaked Juicy rom!

I am curious though... how do I shutoff the autocorrect thingy that now seems to pop-up everywhere i type anything. I turned off auto-correct for input, but that didn't do it. This seems like a different one. It is creating problems in certain situations.

Off topic but I see this referred to from time to time. What does converting .dll's to modules do for you? Faster? More stable? More flexability? Thanks.

Be really careful on choosing what to convert as some programs don't like modules, with YouTube being the pickiest I have seen. So I would say enjoy those flashatons your fixing to do to figure that out ](*,) Cause it's a true pain

As for the GPS drivers, thx for the fix, I'll use those in the final release

It gives the files a fixed memory address, so they load a little quicker, etc

Thanks a TON! Looks like I still make the mistake of not reading thoroughly. Sometimes that is difficult when threads are huge and searching on these forums is still a bit substandard. This is GREAT work. Now my ROM is as perfect as it can be (to date). GPS in google maps works too... just took pointing it to COM4 vs. "managed by windows"

How do we go about getting your work stickied? I think your work needs to go to the head of the class!
