Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
OC 16 would be 12MB...
You want OC 15 or 30 16. I believe, to be safe, you should go with 30 16 to get a 48MB static pagepool. |
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
way over my head, but I'll trust you. I just did 0C 16 for static 48mb, I'll test it and see what memory reads :) If it shows 12MB I'll try 0C 15.
That is Zero C or Oh C? |
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
Zero C but read my edited comments.
I believe you should go with 30 16 for a static 48MB. |
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
thank you, im testing it now. :) 30 16
By the way 0c 16 was 12mb I believe, or 16mb. I had 203 usable memory, I'm not sure the total memory on the TP. |
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
30 16 is 48mb static pagepool. thank you.

Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
Could you tell me what 20mb would be? :) Or maybe how to calculate so I don't have to keep asking haha
|
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
I can just use calc and do hex -> dec right? That means 20mb would be 14 16?
|
Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
I believe so

Re: Guide to changing your pagepool
I've been running SSK 1.4 Beta with 0MB set for pagepool (confirmed via memory size comparisons) for a day now. I think we can safely confirm that setting pagepool to 0 results in a Dynamic pagepool and any time you specify pagepool size you're setting a Static pagepool.
Note: this might not be a good idea for other versions of the TP but mine is the Sprint and I've got tons of memory left free... |
