Ok I just upgrade to 2.8 (love the colors) but I am having all kinds of problems.
I the battery life is really bad, unplug unit @ 7:30 today 2 calls, a bunch of e-mail and battery dowm to 24%.
Also I find the unit non responsive, when I try to do somthing, it just will not let me. Unit responds to other command ( I try to send a text message and I open keyboard the all and new "buttons" do not work , but I can scroll on the bottom menu)
I was useing 2.6 before and VERY happy with i, ni problems and better battery life.
Am I alone or did I miss something.

Read post #599...I can't speak for everyone but i'ts working Great! for me. I do have a rule that I follow whenever I flash and that is to flash it twice. It actually works from my experience.

I'm having problems with the call history tab. It seems to cause my phone to either freeze up or just slow way down every time I go to the tab. It did this before and after I rearranged the tabs using your fix. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

Merdin, quick question. How do you disable the t9/word completion application. I have disabled it in settings, diamond tweak, and advanced config. but it stays on. I never turned it on, and it was never enabled on your 2.6 rom, which is what I upgraded from.

Just software reset your phone but remember to backup your contacts first, maybe you didnt software reset after your flash.

Go into settings, then click inpute, then select phone keypad then click on xt9 settings, and uncheck all of those boxes.

Yes If I wasn't clear... just software reset your phone....you dont have to use the ruu. just hold the appropriate buttons on the phone for the reset.

Hey Merdinh. You are the man once again...
Everything seems to run smooth but one thing
In texting When i slide the keyboard out everything reverts back to landscape
in the newest 2.8 and i dont have anything loaded but Galarm
I have tried a couple of things listed here but its still a no go...

Edit: Sorry I also have Slide to End and no Curtains...
