VERIZONIZED SPRINT Touch Pro

Okay, so when I first got the phone working on Sprint the gps worked, id get anywhere from 8-11 sats on google maps, after updated to the 51143 prl i believe through the link that was modded, i didn't get any. I since have tried all efforts change the pde server to 68.28.31.49:5017 even though the port used to be 4803, and the ip, i'm not sure about. I'd rather not hard reset if possible, pde transport is ip, pde calc is pde. Ive done the locations settings, ive gone back to the 51011m pri... I don't know what to do. I have a constant seeking GPS sats (0).... in google maps. For a bit i could get 3, 4 or 5 satellites, but the location would be within 30 meters, unlike spot on before.

edit: 1 number can do it....

How to get Sprint touch pro on Verizon Gps Working without any mods (cabs*)

1) install the newest qpst (301 with surf7500)
2) download latest 51143 prl
3) go in through ##prl# or ##prl depending on which radio
4) load the prl
5) let it soft reset and come back into the phone and dial ##3424# or ##3424 depending on which radio
7) connect to the phone via qpst, read from phone (search for answers to problems if you have any)
8 ) go to gpsOne
9) set the ip and settings to

PDE IP Address = 68.28.31.49
PDE Port Number = 4503
PDE Transport = IP
Position Calculation = PDE
"
10) write to phone
11) soft reset (not needed, but I like to)
12) open up google maps and enjoy near under 10 second locks with 7-10 satellites in buidlings

neither fix worked for gps on my custom rom in ppcgeeks kitchen

yea bored your rom and fix dont work for verizonized sprint phones, tried both, cabs settins and everything and it still didnt work. now this fixed doesnt work after i did a telus radio update. ill try verizon and sprint again. but now with the telus radio i only get 1x all the time no ev or anything else.

Shouldn't step 4 above be ##3424 not ##3432?

Nex's ROM, bored's modified PRI, Titan agps QPST hack, GC Verizon TP Carrier 20081223and GC Verizon aGPS.cab.

im not using a verizon phone.... thats why i cant use the verizon drivers right?

You don't need a Verizon phone. I'm using a Verizonized Sprint Touch Pro and what I mentioned above got the GPS working perfectly on it.

ok, so....I don't mean to hijack this thread any, but I am curious...

I asked around a few weeks ago, but now I think things have changed....
If you Verizonize a Sprint TP, does everything work perfectly on it? I think I was told that you can get GPS up, but when you do, the phone is unable to operate at EV-DO speeds. Is that correct, or does a Verzonized Sprint TP flash and operate fully without any loss of functionality? I like the TP, but I don't see why I should buy a VZW version when I can get a Sprint version with better specs and flash it over.

Any pros/cons with going VZW TP over Sprint TP?
