Radios?

Where do you download a newer radio for Sprint pro? The rom I am cooking is stook at the first splash screen with the red letter on the bottum. I read that the radio is old and needs to be updated. Can it be done thru the kitchen? I looked and did not find nothing.

There's a thread with all the radios available to us. I don't think you can do it through the kitchen, but it's not hard.

Yeah, they all work just fine with any kitchen you want. The Telus 1.04 radio is the newest, and it seems to work the best. The VZW 1.03 works well too, but I get better signal with Telus, there's a post in that thread that says VZW is a little better on EVDO performance, but I found the opposite, as my device lasts longer with the Telus radio if I have push enabled.

And you have Sprint? The Pro? So you can throw in a telus radio without any issues?

Yes, check the radio thread here:

I've been running the Telus radio for a few weeks, just made a couple posts on my results. Keep in mind I'm still using a lemon TP (hardware keyboard totally stopped working) that may have other issues.

I used the sprint and telus radios and i find sprints to be more reliable in total performance.
Although alltels gives better signal sprints gives good signal, and plus better battery power, gps launch is pretty much the same on both, so either one of those two will do.
