Error 238, please help.
 

I am trying to download a new rom, but receiving an error. The first error that i got was 240, but i figured that the new rom needed a different name. So now i need help on what I need to do to get the ROM updated and go past error 238.

Is your phone unlocked, RMEL? I have looked and it seems to be a locking issue... Your phone needs to be unlocked before you can flash to a new ROM..

What ROM are you attempting to flash to? Are you trying to flash via USB or Storage Card?

It should be named RUU_signed.nbh if by USB and RAPHIMG.nbh if by Storage Card.

Im using ROMupdateutility

I'm a newbie with this ROM stuff, so sorry for the questions.

Error238:File Read
Can not open the requested file

When I go to bootloader mode it says:
Security unlocked
raph800
spl-0.37cmonex

Does this mean its unlocked?

Juggalo ROM via USB

I do have it named RUU_signed.nbh

I just want to confirm, when I download the ROM file it downloads as a .rar file, then I change the name to RUU_signed.nbh, correct?

no... you open the .rar and the .nbh is inside.

lol, sorry. You download the rar, extract the nbh file into the RUU folder, the run ROMUpdateUtility.exe

Thanks Everyone! I figured it out. I needed a app that unzipped .rar files.
