Re: pagepool
i have tried 32mb, it does run great but i was just wondering if there was another pagepool that would be a little more effective, dont get me wrong this phone is quick, just trying to see if we can get a little more out of the device if possible

Re: pagepool
Depends, which TP do you have? Sprint or Verizon?
With Sprint I'm having good luck with a Dynamic pagepool; that is 0MB. It seems to have plenty of memory to do this (almost 3 days now on SSK 1.4). I believe that any time you define the size it is by default Static. The xx 15 and xx 16 only tell the OS whether to count in 1MB or 4MB chunks. More on that can be found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...light=pagepool |
Re: pagepool
It has to be set using the pagepool changer program on a ROM, before you flash your phone with it. The app to do this is bundled with the ROM updater utility.

Re: pagepool
I roll with 0

Re: pagepool
Yeah with a wonderfully gimped Verizon phone, 9-12MB seems to be good, 12MB being probably a bit more popular, at least with scrosler's SSK ROMs (which are designed for VZW).
0MB means you are letting windows dictate how much it wants, and some people like that...however I would only suggest it on non-VZW touch pro's. |
