I could be wrong but I believe the "fix" must also be done to the XIP in order for the page pool to actually work. I will try to post a link to my claims as soon as I find it. JD may or may not have already applied this fix but I wanted people to know it's not just the PP changer just in case teh PP changes don't take. Only JD can confirm if this rom supports the changes. Sorry JD if this causes any confussion.

EDIT: here is the post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...05&postcount=4

JD. I like this rom... so thanks for your work. I was just curious if you will be releasing an unprotected version? Just Curious.

Thanks - pro_b

Only way I know to tell is to check your available memory.

I tried that first, of course. But the ok button or x button in the right hand corner would always be hidden. I just pressed it b/c I was used to it being there. Once I exited quickmenu, the top menu bar didn't function right for me.

Looks like it didn't work, since that is what I have w/o attempting to change the pagepool.

whatd you do different in this rom JD? it seems really quick with everything even will all the "extras" installed and running (quickmenu/wktask/tf3d) and has a nice look and feel to it with the icons and theme. tf3d itself is faster than your other roms, may just be me, idk. it does get a little getting used to and i still miss the htc task manger x button, but other than that, really good work on this rom, id never expect this to come from you lol

edit, just saw your post 1999TL, how do you change the page pool? and how much does it speed up the device

The good thing about JD's roms is that the Hex values are easy to find.
