Hey juggalo, if at all possible, can u send me this same latest rom, but WITHOUT the XT9 cooked in? I believe u said thats the core of all the keyboard lag problems

I am sure there is not alot of you out there that run Juggalo's v.8B rom and then install the Juggalo_X Manila W/ Old School Landscape and Backgrounds On All Tabs cab file. But if by chance there is, does anyone notice how laggy it makes the phone???

Flashed to 0.88 about 4 days ago. The sleep issue happened to me 2x, had to do soft reset. Not sure why either. Also had to install MS Voice Command 1.6.19209 for it to work. The version came with this ROM came me errors when tying to run it. Otherwise awesome ROM, super responsive. Love it. Anyone figured out how to keep LCD dimmed during a phone call? Was able to do it with stock Sprint ROM with either Advanced Config tool or Diamond Tweak but I can't figure out the option again.

I just bought my touch pro about a week ago, it's the first phone I've bought in years. I've been using the most basic of the basic that my work provides. Anyways, I finally decided to make the jump to a smart phone/pda after all of my buddies started getting the new blackberries and iphones.. I guess I was getting a little jealous, lol.

I stumbled across this forum and decided to go with this rom, and wow... just awesome. Its miles ahead of the stock rom. No **** right? I'm sure everybody here already knows that. I really appreciate all of the work you guys have done here and all of the threads that spell things out step by step for a novice like myself. I will definitely be coming back here often, and will make a donation soon. Thanks again.

I wanted to change it myself, too -- you need to replace /Windows/MyApp.lnk with a shortcut to the program you want to launch (aka Resco Explorer for you).

I have been running V0.08B Sprint since the minute it came out. I have never had to reset my phone since I loaded this ROM, and I have tons of random software installed on there. It is stable as can be.

However, my previous phone: A Sprint Mogul, suffered from this issue of sleeping and not waking up several times daily. I tried many custom roms, and eventually went back to stock and the issue persisted. I concluded that it was a hardware issue, and that is exactly why I had to upgrade to a Touch Pro.

I really hope that's not the case, but keep it in mind as a possibility. Try other ROMs and see what happens. Or maybe it was a fluke and a hard reset would take care of it.
