Dream,

Any chance of doing this exact same build, but with the HD People tab and updating the OEMs (similar to JD's new seven ROM)? I like your build better because multi-select works perfectly still in File Explorer and Pocket Player...

I think your TF3D is also faster because it's using compressed images...

Also, I just notcied that in the lite version of the ROM, you removed VOIP. Does that mean VOIP is in the full version? How can I access this?

I figured it out! Just for future reference in case anyone has the question. Apparently MS Voice Command only likes 1 "button shortcut" so I just had to change the talk button shortcut to something other than MSVC and now it works via my bluetooth button again.

Sorry everyone for not being on much as of late. My current problem is that my computer is screwed and I basically lost everything (and I mean everything) Tried to recover with no success. So back to the drawing board. :(


The other crappy part is that all the roms that I have housed on the ftp site are protected so I cant even takes one of those to build on.

Welcome back. Sucks about your computer. HDD failure is one of the worst things that can happpen.

yikes that sucks man. Have you tried a program called File Scavenger? It's been pretty good at recovering files in my experience.

I am having an issue with memory warnings saying that I need to free up some memory before I can run apps.

This happens when no apps are eating up memory.

Any ideas?

super way off topic, but kinda related, my friend doesn't know his win server 2003 pw and the it guy wont return a call... whats best to recover it....

But it depends if you want to recover the actual password or just reset it so you can use the account.

This will reset and is fairly easy. I've never used it with Win 2k3 but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only downside to this method is if you have encrypted files, they will be unusable after the change.

If you want to actually recover the password, you need some type of password cracker and need to grab the SAM file from the system by booting from CD or something.

elcomsoft.com makes a few different crackers that are pretty decent, but if it is a strong password, it could be technically impossible (take way too long) to crack it unless you have a lot of processing power.

There are some password crackers that use rainbow tables and can be very fast, but you've got to download the huge rainbow tables if the password is any decent length / complexity.
