Page Pool Changer
 

Does anyone know if the page pool changer is being worked on to actually work correctly with the new Touch Pro roms? I know you can use a hex editor, not exactly noob friendly. The PP changer worked so well and it would help eliminate all the needless requests for different page pool sizes on the custom roms.

If there is a working version please link it. Thank you.

its the XIP, actually conflipper is working on fixing this so the PP is located where the PP changer changes it.

Thank god! lol I get so annoyed when I see all these requests for PP changes and i am not even the one creating custom roms! Will be nice to have an actual working PP changer.

Yeah it all comes down to the bytes in the xip, that allow this. I need to change some of these. then with the proper bytes in place. you will be able to use the older page pool changer. and it will chagne it.

It works. I have been able to modify my flash files on the touch pro. so that changing it using the pagepool program works. Testing some more now. Once I have it, I will share with juggalo_x so his roms will be able to do this

Not likely, there will be some that still will want some hand holding...but it will be much better :)

Now gimme gimme! I need to change my PP and test out my new UC config! :mrgreen:

the old page pool changer only did static unless you used zero what would be nice is a new pagepool changer that gave us dynamic options too

Colonel published how to make the old pagepool changer work (cmonex patch)

Move up to a modern kitchen and the problem is resolved - you can set static or dynamic.

yeah i was one untill i used the hex editor but a working push here now editor would be great bump
