as far as i know my location goers by GPS or AGPS, if you have neither then it wont work. it may support cell tower triangulation but i dont think so.

no idea then, i know that my location has never worked for me with out gps.

MY LOCATION is for phones w/o gps. It uses Cell Antenna signal and triangulate your position to within 1000 meters. Actually faster than gps. Very convient indoors w/o gps signal. But techinically I dont see why it shouldn't also work with this phone.

I've downloaded the cab, installed... no streets menu?

Wow... I was happy to hear about this. Looks like there is no street view in my area though.

Can't wait to take a trip into the city to try it out. :)

so does this street view pan on the streets using the phone's inbuilt accelerometer? I downloaded mine from googles website and it requires me to use hardkeys to pan...

No accelerometer feature... it would be nice though!
