Weird issue after flashing Telus radio
 

I have a Sprint Touch Pro with the leaked VZW ROM. Last night I flashed the Telus radio posted in this forum. Flash went fine, but I see no noticeable difference in reception. At home I flip between 0 bars EV and a few bars 1X, before and after flash.

But I noticed a weird issue today....I can no longer dial landlines in the Netherlands from the US. When I try:

+31 area number: I get nothign, silence and call quits
011 31 area number: I get number not in service

For cellphones(all have area 6 in Netherlands):

+31 6 number: gives me nothingjust silence and call just quits
011 31 6 number: this works!!

This is with both assisted dialing On and Off. Now granted, I alsodisabled the HTC dialer skin in favor of the standard WM dialer to get rid of incoming call ring lag, but re-enabling the HTC dialer did not fix this problem.

What gives? What would this have to do with the radio?

I am no expert but you didn't mention what service provider you use or if the calls worked before you flashed everything. You have one hell of a mutt phone. Sprint phone, verizon rom and Telus radio.

I know Sprint charges a fee for service to call overseas but I can't speak for any other carriers.

Ha! You're right...this phone does have a bit of an identity crisis :D

I'm on Verizon and have the international dialing option on my plan. Yesterday I could call these numbers just fine. The things that changed since then and now are the radio flash and the disabling of the HTC dialer.

Weird. I'll probably reflash the VZW leaked ROM which should also restore that radio.

Enable your dialer skin or you loose little biots of fuinctionality... Like the ability to change your volume for one example.

I would try that before reflashing.

As far as the Radio... Ummm... DNo difference here. Havent tried all the funtions like BT and Wifi. Reception hasnt changed.

Re-enabled the stock VZW ROM dialer, but that did not fix it. BTW volume changing during a call does not work for me with either dialer.

I'll reflash and see what that does. Tbx!
