Somehow I have more RAM now?
 

I just wanted to report a fluke :drunken: that I found, not sure why this happened but it did. I flashed over to Nex's new ROM for the Verizon Touch Pro, decided to flash back to the VZW Standard Rom found on the PPCGeeks FTP and now I have more free RAM than before. Before flashing to NEX I was always around 27-31MB Free, 32MB was high... Now I'm running 41-42MB free at all times after flashing back using the PPCGeeks FTP Rom. I'm not sure if the ROM listed here is exactly the same as the one that came on our phones. Someone else care to flash and report back with the one listed on the FTP?

I used the leaked one before and it seamed faster than what was on the phone. But with tf3d running i'd be at high 20s low 30s all the time...

Back at stock after Nex's ROM, then my custom ROM and now stock again. 60 MB on cold boot without Manilla. 50 MB with it. Interesting.

I am using TF3D, and every program I usuall use and I'm still at 42MB... It doesnt seem faster, it is faster.. I never hard this much free memory before.

ya I just flashed the pre-release ROM and it is a ton faster... I don't know if it's the diff between the one that was shipped and the one posted here but it is def better than what I was running before... 50mb on boot with tf3d

ya... it does suck to have to be pinching the RAM again like with the titan but this is DEF better off than the titan... the real kicker is that every other carrier doesn't have this RAM limitation and this is ONLY vzw people that are gonna be watching memory.. I would be rather p'd off if I paid $300+ for this phone but the fact is I got it for free as a REPLACEMENT for my titan and it is BETTER... so yay vzw for giving me a free $300 phone.. shame on u for screwing everyone who pays money for this phone.

Now you guys really have me curious. Right now, on the stock ROM (no reflash) I'm at 61 MB on boot (no TF3D) with Spb Mobile Shell, Diary, Phone Suite, and Pocket Plus running. I'd definitely like things to be faster, but I'm wondering where I'll stand on RAM with the new ROM (or if I revert to the pre-release).

Sorry. Found it. I was sick all day and worked anyway. Very tired. This is pre-release? What's the difference between this and the original ROM it came with?
