Another TF3D Ring Delay Fix

I also found this fix over at XDA tonight for the Ring Delay we are having while using the TF3D dialer. I know it says WM5 but according to other HTC users they've used it with 6.1 with the same results. The only downside is you have to use a .wav ringtone, so if your ring isn't .wav you have to convert it. Just follow the steps. Worked for me, first ring.

Sorry but this is old news. It's been discussed here already.

Plus there was a wealth of other threads on the same issue....

Thanks AFAngryWarrior!

This finally fixed my ring delay problem and I can still use the HTC TF3D dialer. I used the 1st cab listed on that link. I wasn't a fan of the default ringer the cab used, but it seemed to work fine with the other ringers (specifically, I used Ring-Generic 2).

I am curious to know what the reg tweaks are. They don't seem to be listed on that original post. And I've tried the ring scripts previously, but they didn't seem to help.

all you have to do is set a wav file as your ring

wav files use the built in functions to open/play whereas other types of files require additional libraries

Since it looks like this is already being discussed I'm gonna close this one down.
