VZW Users Willing to Chip $ In for Cooked Rom?
 

I know most of the cooks here don't use a VZW Touch Pro so aren't that inclined to readily develop a better rom than the stock one. That being said I'm wondering how many other VZW Users like myself are willing to generate a fund via paypal (A winner takes all sort) for the one who creates a better rom for us. This of course would have to be verified by someone willing to flash their device and report back. I myself am willing to donate $20 US to the pot, anyone else? I'll keep this post updated with a running total.

Man, you VZW guys love paying more don't you? More for less phone, more for less minutes, more for a custom rom.

I'm sure glad that when you call customer service once or twice a year you have a more pleasant experience.

This is highly unnecessary there will be plenty of ROMs for VzW touchPro plus it will be fully supported in BuildOS you guys seriously need to eat a xanax or something and relax I have never seen so many impatient people in my life.

i agree 100% they are begging all over the upgrade section. its cluttering it up.

funny u should say that as i read the other day that sprint was on the way to there demise, sprint can do all those things because for the most part their network is ****,im in ny and gotta tell you verizons holding it down out here and as for sprint i hope it all works out but if you really wanna think about it i would rather pay good money for excellent service i mean u sprint dudes jus got picture mail u gotta be kiddin me no offense i'm jus talkin 2 ya

service means nothing if u have a turd that can make calls... that cost more then the other carriers version of the device... and they are not as turdy. get it?

get this vzw has its up n downs aswell as every other provider i've been wit vzw 4 over a decade and it keeps gettin better also my tp works fine with crazy new apps i'm lovin it and i'll be loving it more when someone blesses us wit a custom rom ya digg =D>

im sure you enjoy the VZW touch pro. but any user who has used SPCS and VZE TP will tell you the VZW on isnt as good... its nicer to boot with 150 MB of free ram rather then 60 MB :)

Sprint service is great for me and I'm in NYC. And if I am inclined to do so I can switch my phone to roaming and I'm on Verizons network. The best of 2 worlds. I have free roaming which I think most sprint people have. The best decision I ever made was to get out of Verizon and switch to SERO :)
