few pointers for the rom section here

your rom section here is rather difficult to navigate. Cooks should label there rom's threads with what ce-os and build there rom offers. its easier to find what your looking for. i can't tell what threads are roms and what ones are questions/answers.

organization is key, check out the diamond section :)

ill lead by example when i post my pro rom later this week.

well, it'd be great if I was actually the thread starter for half the threads on my roms =/

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

But only the best no2chem ROM's will be the official version... released by you... I might have to flash my TP to see what the fuss is all about.. lol

he wasn't referring to imitators. he was referring to noobs posting his work in a thread that looks like crap and the title gives no info.

HAHAHA That made me laugh pretty hard :)

But yeah, Jug, I changed a few thread names hoping they'd follow suit, some have and some haven't. Since some are new I like to let them get their feet wet first. I gave the Diamond section a lot of leeway at the beginning too, and most figured it out. Here's how I like it

[DATE] Rom version, info etc [CE OS]

And NO CHANGES until the ROM is available to download, not on the way, not uploading. Uploading takes a little while, editing a threads name takes seconds. Do it last plz, people wasting our bandwidth opening page 1 for nothing

Can't wait Juggs... I tried cooking a rom with the PPC kitchen but it seems the sys used (20924) has A LOT of bugs... IE: Bluetooth, massive keyboard lag... anyway, looking forward to your ROM. Hope it's a lot like Juicy's roms of the Diamond.

honestly I have read thru this thread and I will explain why I don't do this ...

1- because I make roms for me and share with the rest thus the title JD's ROM

not to say that I don't keep the community in mind but when I started making or even using roms from here the sys\ce os versions were never posted you would see a title like DCD's Clean Titan Rom\Nuerom\Colonel's Rom\Nexvision's Hybrid the if you read into the thread generally within the first few lines you would see what base they used for the rom and speaking truthfully I've seen the diamond forums to me it looks like a mess just an opinion please don't justify don't wanna waste anymore bandwidth

This topic reminds me of herding cats.

My current pet peave is the word PRO in the title. How about TPro, or TouchPro? Are all the other roms residential grade? Where are the Continuous Duty roms?

Anyway...

I'd sure like to know what you guys are cooking in that causes the portrait/landscape switch lag (aka keyboard lag). Can you post a selections.txt in the appropriate thread? And what's wrong w/ your bluetooth (other than it doesn't show as an AS option)?

I'll do this as soon as I get home from work. Bluetooth issues are with stereo headsets. When paired, after about 30 minutes of use followed by 15 minutes of non-use but still paired, the bluetooth connection seems to just "drop." When I try to reconnect (AKA, "Set As Wireless Headset") it does nothing. Only way to fix is to reboot.

I experienced similar issues with bluetooth on other Diamond SYS (20931 and 20924) but those were later fixed in more recent builds. Could this be a similar driver issue?

Anyways, will post a selections.txt in kitchen thread when I get home. Sorry this is off topic Juggs.

EDIT: I also get a battery meter issue where the battery icon constantly shows at 33% - even after full charge.

*[11-21-08]* Juggalo ROM v0.04.08B Public Beta [SYS OS 5.2.20759 Build 20759] [UC] <----- still identifies it as my rom ;)

i say this because what if your looking for a specific ce os/build? there should ALWAYS be a build identifier in the title IMO. everywhere els but here its like that lol. just sayin....

lol i also wondered what made the rom pro.... i don't usually identify the device in the title unless its in a collective subsection and not its own subforum. as we use here.

it could easily replace the need to carry a laptop if you can tolerate the size and lack of drives it can also ruin your life because you will forget about the rest of the world
