So I want to use a custom ROM... BUT

So I want to use a custom ROM because of the stability and speed improvements they bring. But I'm apparently one of the few people who actually uses sprint tv/nav/pic mail etc... and I prefer sprint's tf3d skin. The only things the phone came with that I DON'T use are Audio booster, clearvue, jetcet print, titan, and worldcard.
I did a little searching and found only a partial solution.
What I think I need to do is install nue-rom (I've had good luck with these in the past) and install all of the OEM cabs and the sprint stock TF3D.
Any better/easier solutions??
Where do I get the OEM cabs??
Will tf3d still include a tab for sprint tv and a link to sprint music store?? (Because, again, I actually do use these)

Thanks to anyone for your help!

JD's rom page has a link to the removed cabs. So you shouldn't have a problem.

I also prefer the Sprint TF3D (Sprint Manila) and I haven't figured out how to reinstall it and have spent a couple of hours trying different ways. I've also posted on the custom rom threads requesting the Sprint TF3D but no one else seems to like it for whatever reason. If you figure it out please let me know too!

yea no2chems first release of a tp custom rom had all that good stuff, but this last wave he changed tf3d i liked sprints variant as well, but i do know no2chem keeps all the standard cabs installed on his roms still. ( at least for now)

I'm glad he keeps the stuff on his rom. Then I dont have to go reinstall it.

I was thinking this exact same thing, which is why i gave you the thanks. Seems like this question is not being answered simply in this thread. If you find a rom exactly like this, please pm me. I too would love for my device to speed up, but I like all of the extras that you named.

I think the best option for you guys is to use a good kitchen and cook one up.

This is a kitchen that is very easy to use and customize exactly what you want in your roms while having the latest builds/speed improvements. PPCkitchen also has very good step by step tutorials for new cooks.

I had cooked a few roms with my old HTC touch but they never seemed quite as fast as some other custom roms from jd and no2chem. Cooking a decent rom myself was fairly straightforward, until I wanted to make reg edits and putting in programs in cab format instead of oem. My roms weren't stable at all when I tried speed improvements with reg edits. And it seems the demand for this kind of ROM is pretty deep. I'll try to post a ROM of my own within the next week if it's any good. I havent used the TP kitchen and I'm expecting the same results I got from the vogue kitchen, but if not, expect something good!
What I really want is an old reputable pro at this to cook me up somethin tasty! I would gladly donate a few bucks. ;)

I'm in the same boat -- I would like the standard Sprint ROM with reg hacks and speed improvements coupled with the removal of bloat stuff like help and getting started, etc.

I feel you. I'm looking for a CLEAN ROM with a boosted pagepool, but it seems like a lot of the options have extras or take out things I like.

That being said, there's a lot of hard work put into these and we all appreciate it. I might try and cook one up.
