Verify that you are unlocked per instruction #7 in the unlocking thread. 7) to confirm you got it unlocked, go into bootloader mode (tricolour screen!) and verify the screen shows 0.35.CMONEX or 0.37.CMONEX to enter bootloader mode to see version: with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then tap the reset button with the stylus tip, then release the volume down and power buttons when bootloader tricolour screen appears Last edited by razorloves; 04-07-2009 at 04:45 AM. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Hi all, first time flasher here.
I have Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 unlocking my Sprint CDMA Touch Pro and Downloaded Davideuck's V-4 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487602 ) When I enter the Raphael_CustomRUU v1.2 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410761 ) exe it gives me the signs that ye normally expect. However once I click on the Next button to start the flash ActiveSync will lose the connection, my device goes into the Bootloader, gives the progress bar and at 1% it errors out, restarts and I get this on the RUU: "Error [244] : Invalid Model ID This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility." I've also tried installing it via memory card, it'll flash a quick message of "No Image Found" then sit in the Bootloader screen till I reset it. How can I flash my Raph? |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Dear CeltREI,
I have flashed three times. The And each time I had the same issue. When the UpdateUtility says it failed, disconnected the phone from the USB cable and reconnect it. Then run the utility again. This has to do with, from my experience with the instructions that are given on these pages. The ROMUpdateUtility will put your phone into the flash mode. Go to RUU folder (I put it on the desktop), run the RomUpdateUtility (you must already have your unzipped your Rom of choice in this same RUU folder, it is named RUU_signed.nbh). The ROMUpdateUtility will automatically will go through the proper steps, including telling you when to connect your USB cable. When the screen gives you instructions on things to do before going to the next step, then you want to make sure the phone is connected. It's worked each time once I have just followed the instructions on the ROMUpdateUtility. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
... I just found my problem. Was trying to flash a Blackstone ROM onto a Raphael.
I downloaded a Raphael ROM and it flashed successfully, though now I am having different issues. It is now in an endless loop where it loads to the "TOUCH pro" first screen, no red numbers pop up and it resets to loop again. I'm downloading the stock sprint ROM to see if I can sd card load it, though tried with a different cooked ROM to no luck already. Any help? EDIT: And I found my answer for that. Turns out I was trying to flash GSM ROMS on my CDMA Pro. Downloading the sprint one and will look more here for ROMs than the mainly GSM xda-devs. /desk->forehead. Just glad I didn't brick my phone Last edited by CeltREI; 04-09-2009 at 02:13 AM. |
