I appreciate all the help so far, but since i got stuck again i might as well ask for some more. while trying to unlock my TP, it brings up an error message when the bootload screen comes up. I got hard-spl and put .net framework on my pc, so I'm kind of at a loss and dont want to fry anything. Any advice is welcome. I'm starting to feel like a Sprint employee here.

what error message? what version spl are you using? what operating sytem is on your computer? Did you try rebooting computer?

i have windows xp, I used the raphael hardspl 37, i tried rebooting a few times. The error message would pop up right when the status bar for the unlock should have come up. it just said it was unable to complete the unlock, then it would take me through steps to recover the phone: disconnect from cradle, remove battery for 3 seconds, then power back on. One time it worked, the cmonex was on the bootloader, but it rejected the rom and i was back to stock.

Wait a minute..."one time it worked"? So you successfully unlocked it and it said CMONEX on the bootloader screen. Then you tried to flash a rom to it and it rejected and relocked itself in the process? I've heard it all now. lol. I just woke up so give me a second to register this and figure out what this could mean.
EDIT: Did you look at the sticky for unlocking your phone from the microSD card? You might want to just go ahead and try that. It is much easier I think.

I couldnt have made it up, it relocked. thats why i typed that part at the end, because i wasnt going to say it because it sounds so stupid. it says unlocked at the top of the bootload screen butdoesnt say cmonex.. Therefore, I'm thrown off because it seems as though my phone has locked itself and swallowed the key.

It will always say Security Unlocked at the top. Even if you haven't unlocked it yet. But anyways...i would just do the unlock via mem card. it's super easy. If you have anymore questions or problems with unlocking then post it in the unlocking thread and I'll follow you over there.

OK, i need some help. i know what i'm doing and have been flashing roms since DCD started his magic with the titan. but i don't know what i'm doing wrong and i know it's something stupid and small that i'm missing, but can't figure it out.

i downloaded JD's kitchen and built myself a rom because i want to try out 6.5. i check off all the stuff i want and don't want and let it play. the RUU pops up and i put my phone into bootloader mode and plug in my usb cable. i hit the OK buttons twice and then the RUU says it can't communicate with my phone and i have to exit. i've tried like 4 times and i can't figure whats wrong. can anyone help?

did you try the second set of instruction in the first post of this thread.

what error are you getting? have you hard reset? are you unlocked? have tried flashing via SD Card?
