PPCGeeks - [03/12] 5.0 IS HERE!!! 32mb Pagepool and SUPER CLEAN

From those who have used the ActiveSync tweak, does anyone know if it is simply like having manual sync or can you still schedule your syncs to happen automatically? I really wouldn't want to go in and check my email all the time, I just want it showing up for me every 15-30 minutes depending on peak or not.

I was informed that the activesync tweak will NOT affect your email sync.

I use Microsoft Exchange, sorry, I forgot to mention that. It will not affect that either correct? The activesync tweak that is.

Spb GPRS / Wisbar Advanced

First off, great ROM! I do have two issues.

1. SPB GPRS Monitor, under Tools > Options > Connection I try to enable connection monitoring but Sprint does not show up under connection, nothing shows.

2. Wisbar advanced when activated the top bar is huge, seems like the wrong resolution setting, all the features work just the top bar is extra large. I'll try and get a screen shot soon.

Hey Y4J,

I saw your post at xda regarding the black blue globe file. In case you were still trying to find the file to edit the 27c65cbd_manila file. I found it in my windows directory. I don't know why she doesn't include it, but I put mine on my pc and used notepad to edit it. I also posted a copy in here somewhere...

As promised .... my battery life update:

Took phone off charger at 7am. Made about 10 calls roughly about a minute each. A couple of 10 minute calls. About 100 text messages today. One hour of listening to mp3s. At 9:30 pm which was 12.5 hours later, I still had 57% battery left. I am running 4.0 with the Activesync modification as well as the mixupdate file posted by y4j.

As a note, installing the mxinupdate thingie screwed up my microsoft exchange syncing. I could no longer get emails or contacts, because it replace my settings.

After the update I can not create a partnership with my laptop.

I no hard work went into this and that is greatly appreciated but.... Can or is it easy for me to change the blue high light to another color?
