Ill let you know after I create and flash. I have to get 14 phones ready to go for my IT department and they all a) want the better ROM and b) need their contacts to work. :P

I redownloaded and flashed... everything is fine now. Sorry, just a n00b here.

Can anyone get EPST to launch correctly? Im trying to manually update the newest Alltel PRLs but anytime I type in ##775# EPST flashes up and then closes. I cannot get it to manually launch either.

Any advice?

it might be your phone or a bad flash. I just tested that ## code and it works fine for me.

I just reflashed and still the same issue. "##775 send" dials the number, and ##775# flashes the EPST program for a quick second and then its gone. And suggestions? I may try to go back to the Alltel flash and then do it, because it seems to hold whichever PRL is on there without problems during flash.

EDIT: I did flash to the Alltel rom and was able to use the "##775 send" feature to manually update the PRL. As soon as I flash back with the Alltel settings in the cooker, it does not work. Just an FYI, as I don't think its a big deal but I can duplicate it on over 5 phones right now.

I searched this thread and didnt find a solution. After cooking and flashing the rom the TP is just fine....the problem comes after I try and soft reset...it gets stuck at the boot screen and wont go any further. Did I miss the fix for this somewhere? I'm using v1.03.9d.

Have you double checked your packages that you have selected for install? Is your phone unlocked?

Sorry - this is the best I've got so far. I've flashed almost seven different TPs in the past week and haven't had that specific problem. My most recent problem was solved by downloading the cooker and trying again.

Hey eRice, if I wanted to remove XT9 from the kitchen, can I just remove the folder from the OEM folder? Will this break anything else?
