go to Start > Settimgs > Connections (tab) > Wi-Fi > Menu > Advanced
Check the settings in the "Turn off Wi-Fi if not connected in:" drop down.

I am having a similar issue....but my wifi is turning ON by itself. Specifically, I notice it happens when I make or receive a phone call. When I hang up, I notice that the Wifi is on. Anyone know why this is happeneing?

Thanks!

Edit: I am wondering if this is happening because I have an application open that requires a data connection, such as Kinoma or Windows Live Messenger? So that when I make a phone call, it turns the Wifi on so that it can keep the data connection active? I am not sure if this is what is really happeneing, just a thought.

Re: [11/23] JD's ROM

Anybody having issues with opera being slow and closing itself often. I installed this build over the top of the 11/14 build and have been having issues with opera being sluggish and closing almost like it is out of memory. Didn't know if this was a new build of opera that was causing this or what was up.

Re: [11/23] JD's ROM

i just wanted to post something weird that happened to me (not a complaint).

i installed the latest rom 2 days ago on a clean phone (hard reset). this morning i had the phone in my pocket (fully charged), and i felt a vibration. i thought i just got a text message or something, but when i took it out of my pocket i noticed it had rebooted.

i don't have a keylock, so is there any way i could have done a soft reset on the phone without hitting the reset button?

at the time, i was probably just running messaging, rss hub, and activesync.

Re: [11/23] JD's ROM

I have been getting an error with Pocket Shield on this new rom. I have been using this on all previous roms including stock without any errors. About 3 times a day it comes up and says that Pocket Shield has encountered and error and must close.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this problem. This program is a must for me, not sure how anyone uses this phone w/o this program.

I installed build #2808 on top of this one and seems to be working much better.

Re: [11/23] JD's ROM

I noticed in this build that the wifi in comm manager can't be turned on. I can turn it on in settings but it is darkened out in comm manager.
