The link I provided was the Herman RUU, lmk if you want to me upload a zip that has everything I used so you can flash the same way I did.

windows XP, please post the real one if its not the one im supposed to be using. I have definatley used the unlocker. so thats not the problem....

i would say follow other instructions since they have already flashed i havent flashed it yet and plan on making my own tonight and either flashing tonight or tomorrow when i get home.

well i just tried it with that post, but it still wont go past 1 percent :'( it just gets to 1 percent and resets....

I'm uploading a .rar file that all you have to do is click on ROMUpdateUtility.exe and it should complete... Also, is the phone unlocked and active sync has already been done?

yeah, everything is done as it should be done when trying to flash a rom....

hey can someone plz post what the difference in this rom and the stock rom is like what the build number is

Well, then maybe restart your computer and see if that works.... Ummm.... I'm sure you got the latest and greatest .net on your computer.... Hmmm... IDK man... You have all that you need I can tell you that much, but I gotta go to bed. Good-luck figuring it out, I'm sure its something simple!

ok here was my problem. i was using the .25 unlocker instead of the .37 unlocker. i installed the .37 unlocker and its currently flashing, almost done actually lol. thanx for all the help everyone!

I know its too early now but can someone post their results with battery life....im loving this phone but unless i can find a fix or a custom rom im taking this thing back.....great phone but this is crazy that i cant get thru a 1.5 hr conversation without my phone dying

I'm still playing with this phone.... Posting this reply with it also.. :) Yes, allow the customization to run, not to worry there's no Sprint bloatware so you're good to go. I had to get the stock cabs out and install windows live for my MSN integration with the mail, Pocket Express for my game scores etc. Sprint TV, just to have, and lastly there's no RSS Feeds! I really need that cab... It's the only one I don't have and is one of the programs I really use a lot. Other then that I'm really happy with this ROM!

In case you haven't tried it yet, on the Touch Pro Essentials page the link that explains how to put the Stock HTC Manila in place of the Sprint Manila actually works quite well. The slider is soooo fast, but it does seem to take slightly longer to load the individual tab you stop on...I guess sort of a give and take...

is anyone else getting a picturemail error. I keep getting "Picture Mail not suppported on this platform." I even tried the one I downloaded from the update section.

thanks for your work!

I do have one question, and forgive my ignorance, I haven't flashed a rom since the hayday of the Apache.
If I wanted to use Sprint Navigation (possibly Sprint TV). Is it possible to extract those cabs from the TP prior to flashing and install with your rom?

Yes, they are in the Windows/ directory on your phone.
