My understanding is that the verizon version is CONFIRMED to have lower specs.

The version that was approved by the FCC is indeed the one with lower specs.

Anyone confirmed this ROM to work?

If so I will go buy a new Touch Pro @ full retail and put it on the VZW network!

one other way to know verizon is crippled is looking at the OEMDrivers folder you see reference to 7500 chipset, and the sprint version is 7501. and touch had 7500.

that means verizon is crippled.

Verizon needs to stop crippling their devices and lower their plans.

why would anyone want to out the verizon rom on a sprint TP, if you but it from best buy unlocked you can just activate it o verizon couldn't you? besides didn't they open their network to activate any phone that'll work on their network?

CDMA phones are never really LOCKED.. It's just providers/carriers don't usually take the device from another.. MetroPCS and Cricket do, but the major players don't.. It's easy enough to obtain your MSL, usually just takes a call to ask for it..
