ok sorry its been a few days road trip to ut from nj what a drive... any way i have the newest radio 1.12.34F now it started to switch back and forth but then it stop idk why but i was in the middle of now where so there was no cell tower just cows lol im in uath now for a few days and sprint is here ive updated the prl and update profile and its not switching again ill try to get the sprint carrier file see how it goes thx for the help

Ive had the most success with the 1.04.05 radio myself with this rom, but as it says in the forum, different radios work with different people at different places . The battery use and signal for this radio was the best when i tested most of them all.

Just wanted to say HELL YEAH!!!! This rom ROCKS!!!! lmao..

I just found the 1x only switch thingy,, since evdo signal here sucks it pretty bad, I clicked it and now I have FULL Bars in my house(never happens) and can still stream the radioprank.com all day.. AND SAVE EVEN MORE BATTERY. Giggidy gig... lol

Just for kicks I installed MightyROM 4 and the problem of the soft keyboard button is nonexistant. Here's the build... 21051

Also, while the super lag in landscape is still present, it is nowhere near as bad in MR. Got to find what drivers are being used.

However, MR4 is still too bloaty compared to this one.

Another update.. I just found out that TELLME works with this rom... FREAKING AWESOME!!!
I have always been a fan of using voice to send text messages.. OH MAN.. I know I am going to keep this rom.. Hope you dont stop supporting it somehow..

Question, does anyone else have a problem with the graphics in "audio Manager"?
Mine is really small display in the top left. I cant find how to get it full screen.

Also, what does GLMODESWITCH do in the tools folder? Why and when should I use it?
sorry so many questions.. But since I am keeping this rom for sure, I need to know some things.. Also in the tools folder, there is "battery" folder with battery saver and normal settings... What does battery saver do?

Hmm, thats like 4 builds ago. I dont think its a build problem, i think its something in the files that is getting screwed up. What is the 'super lag in landscape' that you're talking about? Can you describe it?

I saw this ROM a while ago, but was dealing with getting a warranty replacement and had to keep stock sprint on. Phone was overheating (more than usual) and damaging the batteries. Of course the phones were testing normal. So I had to kill a few batteries before they replaced the phone (all on Sprint's dime, thanks to TEP and persistence). Total of about 6 hours of work. Not sure it was worth it, but I wouldn't have been paid for the time.

In any case, I have been using the ROM for a day, and definitely notice improvements over Sprint stock. Thanks. I saw that you were taking suggestings for the next release.

When you say stealth, does that mean that the ROM will look exactly like stock? I kinda like the enlarged start menu, which I can't seem to get installed, even with the cab. I also like the SBP ROMs. I use the old today screen without even manilla (boots faster). I feel like I am the only one who likes things simpler.

Do you have the calkulin kitchen/base that you are using? I just tried to download it from his discontinued thread, and the link was gone. Someone else was asking about it, and my copy was deleted months ago. If you have it, are you able to post that? I don't know what the protocol is about posting such things. You may need to get his permission first. But I thought I would ask.

As far as the SIP problem, I can't seem to duplicate it. What exactly is going on? I only saw one or 2 posts about it. I use the the PCM keyboard, and have a bunch of registry edits that I backup and restore with every flash. I am wondering if there is something that i save there that I have that helps. I also use SIPChange to make sure the keyboard setting sticks from reboot to reboot. That helps most of the time.

the onscreen keyboard prob goes like this..
When you open the keyboard everything is fine but when you try to close it(press the little keyboard picture at bottom) it wont close, it registers the last key you pressed. And then the next time you click to close it it closes.
Also it is a pain to click the little arrow to bring up the on screen keyboard list. When you click it, it doesnt do anything(it seems) and you try to click again and either the keyboard dissapears or just nothing happens.
I noticed that when it does open the list, it takes ages to do so. So I find myself clicking the arrow, waiting about 10 seconds to see if the list pops up and then if not, clicking it again and waiting.. Sometimes the list will show up, mostly not though.

So I can confirm that I am NOT having the problem. I am using the SBP ROM dated 6/9. I do install a bunch of programs, but the only two that should have anything to do with this are mentioned in my post above. Here are my SIP settings that I import into the registry. You can try playing around with those and seeing if they make any difference. I use sashimi, and have had these settings with multiple ROMs without issues:
