In previous ROMs there was a Sprint cab in the Utilities/Tweaks folder that installed the apps for updating the profile and PRL. I can't seem to find it in this one. Also, was QuickGPS removed?

Thanks....

Well, I did my best to bring the rom as close to what I had before. When my computer crashed, I lost my kitchen. So I had to start over. Here are the cabs. You can install them. You may want to hold on to them as I will not include them in any updates because with every updated Sense it seems to get bigger and bigger. Working on Sense 2018

I am having trouble with Wi Fi Router. When I try to turn it on, it just sits there, 'thinking'. Ideas???

Little more info-I have wifi on. Then try to turn on WiFi Router and nothing. Go to FDC task manager and now CMinternetsharing is running. But still have no internet and WiFI Router did not start. Hope that helped some
Seem like it may be pointing to the wrong exe??? I don't know...

EDIT: Installed a few carrier cab/mms fixes and it is now working. Hmmmmm?

I'm glad that it's working for you. It probably has to do with the carrier setup. I'm almost finished with 2018. Trying to locate the gmail issue. I'm trying the messaging client again hoping to see if it will work. If it doesn't then back to square one. I have also made UCWEB the default browser. 2018 is a definite must have. RSS within the home tab. Call history app for easy reference. Running some tests maybe Friday.

So we're 2016 now right?? What is the difference and what does 2012,2016,2018.......refer to? I mean, don't have to go into detail, but what makes them so different? Is it like a service pack for a computer OS sort of like an update, or a new OS-like XP to Vista to 7. Know what I mean???

Well 2016 was slightly different from 2012 but I can guarantee you that you will notice at least one difference with 2018.

2012 gave us back landscape view after 1921
2016 give us the ability to tap and hold a shortcut on the home page or people tab to remove it.
2018 has rss link on home page as well as the call history link. It also has an ugly internet icon lol!. It seems faster. I am not sure right now but I think in 2016 you are not able to see the weather on the home page in landscape. If not well it's there now.
All in all 2018 will be like that old spice commercial: "Look at me, now look at your man..."

Thank you.

Recently I was traveling and was in Canada and was able to receive calls. I then switched off roaming to ensure that the phone wasn't sucking down a lot of data. Then when I tried turning roaming back on it wouldn't work. It was stuck in "No Service."

I tried every thing, even executing the PPST with no luck. I then downloaded the latest ROM and everything worked at that point. I was also able to use the WiFi Router stateside, and it worked very well. It was the first time I had tried it and it was basically flawless. Chews up the battery but well worth it when you need a data connection.

One thing I noticed in the Settings tab, I had a lot of trouble activating the sliders, until I realized I could just press the item itself and that would allow me to change the setting.

Again, thanks.

One other question. I see an app called FixStartManilla but have not been able to figure out what it does or how it works. In looking it up I saw it is used with some kind of GPS app, but when I click on it nothing happens.

Actually it has nothing to do with GPS. The facebook tab is not cooked in, but installed during customization. This is why this icon is not in any folder. If you choose to remove the facebook tab, then you use it to make sure Sense is not broken. Google facebook tab and read the thread at xda to see more details to this. I suggest just safely tucking it away in a folder, maybe utilities\tweaks so that no one messes with it.
