Quick gps is installed in the rom. The link in gps is only the help file. To fix this, just go to your windows folder using file explorer, and copy and paste the quickgps (the icon that looks like a satellite dish) and paste it to the gps folder.

Hey guys...there are a couple of things that I notice in 1.1 and I am wondering if they have been addressed/fixed in version 1.2. In Comm Manager, if my data is connected, I can click the ON/Off button and turn it off, but if I want to turn it back on via comm manager, when I click the on/off button, it brings me to the data settings instead of turning it back on.
Another thing that I have noticed is that on many 'File' dialogs, the buttons are always on top...and let me explain this one:
If I am browsing the internet via Skyfire and come across a download, when the dialog page to save the download comes up, there is a text box for the file name, then a drop down for folder and a drop down for location such as Main Memory or Storage Card. Under that, there are 2 buttons, one for Save(or OK) and one for Cancel. If I expand the Folder drop down, the list is 'under' the Save and Cancel button. Same with the Location drop down...the list shows under the buttons.

Any ideas?

Yes comm manager works in 1.2. Just checked out the Skyfire issue - that is because of the today theme (a little anal no? lol) I have included a some more today theme options in 1.2. You can try those. If you don't want to leave 1.1 , search the thread. I had attached two for 1.0. The livven theme though, I find to be the best for copying and pasting.

Holding the middle area of the center button triggers the program assigned to the send key. My guess then left, down etc is the area surrounding it.

Thanks but this phone is new to me and I didnt ever set any buttons before. I read the manual and it has nothing on the procedure.
I read that the send and cancel keys are not changable. but I can assign actions to the send key(bottom of list). But it is the only one that I can edit.

I can edit the cancel button from a different screen but it only gives me a few options to choose from... i.e. AirplaneMode/LockDevice/TerminateDataConn/SetVibrate...

Maybe I should ask this in the general forum? No prob if so..

Thanks

Yes, the cancel key is under the long end press key option. It was set to silence before, now I've tweaked it so it shows you all the possible options.

First of let me say that I love the Twisted_Access 1.1, I just have a question about it. When I restore my PIMbackup the texts that I have saved when I go to all messages, they're now displayed all the messages from the person who sent them and then all the messages from myself...they're not initially threaded, anyway to change that?

Accessing, Thank you for the reply and I am sorry if it seemed like I was nit' picking...It was just an observation and there have been instances where the buttons got in the way of seeing what was in the background. Again, I apologize if you thought I was being anal.
