Thanks so much Guero. Not only for this reply but for hosting the All time best SSK Kitchens. I've been using SSK custom cooked ROM since like a week after I've got my phone (about year and a half ago) and there has not been a single thing wrong with it. Now I was looking to refresh it with a new soft but found the SSK website dow. Soo glad you are still hosting them.

Great Job=D>

i'm doing something in my rom builds that prevents my fone from ringing consistently. vibrate setting works perfect. but whenever i have it on any combination of ringing my ringer is always silent. i am about to start trouble shooting today but any help before i start the long process of adding functions one by one will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say, but my TP is no longer active. The damn thing never rings.

I have been running ssk 3.0 rc4 (build 21054) for a while now. everything is running excellent. but the new htc messaging that comes with TF 2.1 wont send any messages it says sim card missing? obviously the port of manilla is from gsm but i am cdma. I got the manilla file that works around it by directing manilla to use the wm messaging but if there is an easy fix i haven't found it(searched here and xda). maybe i worded the search wrong or something. and i"ve worked around it so.... i just like when everything works. it would be nice to use it when in the contacts app. so anyway if anyone knows how to fix this i would much appreciate it!!!! thanks:laughing6:

Hi guys. I think I messed something up. Way back, like a year and a half ago, I flashed to one of Scott's ROMs and was happy enough. Getting tired of the slow VZW TP, I decided to take the plunge on Scott's latest.

I just tried SSK 3.0 preview 2 from the kitchen, and everything seemed to go ok. The flash utility finished, but now I'm stuck on the "Please wait, phone starting up" screen. It goes as far as showing the version numbers in red, then nothing more, even after 15 minutes.

I tried resetting with a paper clip, resetting (this will delete your personal data) with the round button held before the power button, then vol up. It still hangs on boot.

I searched for answers, but was obviously not successful. Help!

*sigh* I panicked. I finally found the other reset method of pin, vol down, pwr button, so at least I was able to flash something else. Don't know why the kitchen wasn't working.

It should just be something that you took out. Try building and flashing the premade one and see if that work without any problems.
