|TP|ROM|6.5.x|cricKet v2.1 Build 21876|02/17/2010|
cricket Rom v2.1 Touch Pro Here is my version of Manila v2.1 aka SenseUI. Kudo's to Calkulin - Visual Kitchen Base and RSToyGuy's EXT's. I build my roms specifically for my own personal use. I am a perfectionist so I really dislike things to not run, or to run bad. This rom is very light, with only the necessary items to run Manila 2.1 correctly. Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 21876 used for Maximum Stability. I have tested everything I can think of on this rom to insure everything is in working order, however if something isn't, please feel free to let me know and I'll look into it. My main goal is to provide Cricket users a good rom without all the mumbo jumbo most of the more advanced cooks throw into their roms. Re: |TP|ROM|6.5.x|cricKet v2.1 Build 21876|02/17/2010|
Well HTC Phones wont do a full *228 like others. You'll need to get his MIN Number and change yours to his, and then change the things that involve your phone number to his.
But all of that stuff is not rom related. Just make sure Cricket knows its a fully flashed phone and you know for a fact it works on cricket. Just so they activate the MMS and WAP properly. Cause they seem to think that phones like this can't accept Crickets WAP and MMS. However anything involving the rom, yes it works great. I been using it since I designed it without any issues. It works right out of the rom, input the phone number@mycricket.com and cricket for the password and log into the web, pix and everything works great. Just make sure you have the EPST settings setup for his account since *228 wont handle it. ***edit*** Is the phone still sprint like it says in your title.... Cause if so, you have to do the sprint to cricket flash first. This is just a rom, it will not setup epst settings cause no rom does that. First things first, you need to do the EPST Settings: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492824 After everything on that page is done to a T, then this rom will work flawless. |

The only issues I have with it, is the program launcher is automatically set for programs not installed. Other than that, I can do a hard reset and it starts up just fine.

nice rom and everything seems to work. I guess i'm just too use to the buttons being at the bottom on the newer 6.5 roms. Good work!

Re: |TP|ROM|6.5.x|cricKet v2.1 Build 21876|02/17/2010|
I choose the older build style because it seems to be the the most stable....I can make the same rom with the newer build. I just wanted everything to be stable.

do you mind sharing the cricket files you used to make the build? I'd like to play around with the builds but have never seen the cricket files laying around anywhere.
Thanks, |

First off I would like to say good work on your rom, this is the first rom I have used where all of the OEM sprint rom features seemed to work even the ## codes. Now for the recommendations J
1. Start button on the bottom of the screen, this adds for a much better flow when using one hand 2. If you keep the options on the top of the screen I would recommend having the icons colored. 3. The ok button is a PIA to use because I have large hands 4. Start menu seems a bit cluttered recommend adding to the folders you created. (Anything that has to do with messaging should go into a messaging folder ect…) 5. Mapping the hard buttons, there is only one option. I like to be able to map as many buttons as possible. 6. Add a few more apps (MS Bing, and PHM Regedit) 7. Mod the clock, should be transparent because your background is very nice and having a non-transparent clock takes away from the aesthetics of your default background. 8. There are missing links on the Programs tab, may want to leave it blank and have the users add what they want. 9. Lastly I had to hard reset the phone to make it stable after the flash. Don’t know why but that’s the first time I had to do it after a flash. Again like I stated in the beginning I am impressed with your rom because all of the functionality that is in the OEM roms seem to work without fail. This is only day 3 with your rom and since I’m a flashoholic for me to have the rom for this long says something. Just a little more eye candy and clean up the start menu and your rom would be perfect at least for my needs. |

Whenever I update my PST settings (including updating PRL), nothing saves. When I click OK to update items, the phone shuts off, and does not restart automatically. When I manually turn the phone back on, all PST settings have reverted to their original state. I'm using nFiniti's ROM on an Alltell Touch Pro. Any ideas?

I wouldn't know about that problem because I already have my PST Settings done from when I first flashed over the phone. I'm on a Sprint phone. I haven't been here much lately cause the rom has been serving me well since.
And the reason why I used the build I did (the start menu is at the top and small (does suck)) is because its claimed to be more stable. I didn't want anyone having issues cause I wanted visual stimulating rom. Ms. Nicole is a girl I met on MySpace. Haven't talked to her in forever, just thought I'd load up the page with a bunch of cute girls to make it look eye pleasing haha. |
