**BETA** Cricket ROM **28205 HYBRID**
 

I am by no means a chef in a league with the ones of this site. This Titanium only ROM is based off of Calkulin's kitchen, with some modifications here and there. I put this ROM together, because I wanted a clean ROM; clean being no extra/unneeded third party programs, since I prefer to install what I want. Example: Total Commander when I prefer Resco Explorer. I left some basic programs, but will remove them once I have cabs for them. I removed all ring/alert sounds, unneeded pictures and other files. Over time, I'll slowly remove unneeded things such as HTC APM, and other modifications, as I learn. Thanks goes to basically everyone on this site.

Phone crapped out.

Attached is the cab for MMS and the sound files and settings I use. I have never found a fully working solution for MMS being cooked in. Either icons are missing or message stays at 0% or 99% without being sent; as experienced with every ROM I tried. I put this cab together and removed templates, emoticons and other unneeded stuff. It completely works for me.

Please report bugs. You may find one since I don't use every aspect of the phone.

GPS lock varies for me. Since I can not connect to QPST to check my settings, I can not say how fast it will lock for you.

I installed it on my test phone to see what it looks like, looks sweet so far

I can send you my own OEM folder with Arcsoft for Cricket. I went in and changed the XML file using ToO's as a reference. It took me a while to do it but I was tired of the problems you mentioned too, and I wanted something that was cooked in.

Thanks, but for right now I'm going to stick with keeping MMS as a cab, since this will allow for easy upgrade and/or removal.

so when you say "Cricket Rom" it's bascially a regular rom with the DCD Cricket file loaded correct?

Yes and no. Yes, being basically, it has all Cricket settings cooked into the ROM. No, being that no file is loaded after being flashed. You flash the ROM and everything, but MMS, is set. MMS is provided via cab.

Can't setup new e-mail accounts in this rom
