Anytime a custom rom has problems, I try the flash dance.

The flash dance is flashing the stock rom (I do this twice which is probably overkill), then flash the custom rom (twice). This hopefully 'cleans up' anything a previous custom rom might have left behind. At least that's the theory.

Also, I always flash from the SD card.

i installed this rom ( vetvito's 23568 ) and cant access epst with ##778# to verify my settings. i had found a cab that worked previously on another rom but when i installed it on this one i still cant access epst. when i try to run EPST from the windows folder, it appears to open for a split second and then dies. dont understand why, any ideas?

i dont have internet working and since i cant get into EPST i cant verify my settings.

as an aside, i really like the rom but the battery seems to drain extremely fast. when i took it off the charger it was at 93%, after maybe 10 or so text msgs, no internet use at all, and about 15 min worth of calls, im at 51%... this just in the past 5 hours or so.

The cab file on post #5 fixes the EPST issue using ##778.
