root, that's exactly what I did. This ROM is basically what it says in the first post: a base, stripped OS with pretty much no extra fluff. I just keep removing the fluff as i find it. (Which includes those extra themes and HTC's ringers and any kind of extra software whatsoever).

To sum it all up, this is a ROM that "just works". There may be some quirky stuff like the security warnings and no bt icon at the moment, but it works as a smartphone. The idea is that you install the programs and extra functionality that YOU want.

And once again, this is just a general comment (not directed at you root) I make this ROM for myself to do what I want it to do. I'm just sharing it with you guys because there is nothing else out there like this except JD's ROMs and they're outdated at the moment. Please READ the first post before you start complaining about what I've taken out of the ROM. I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

I meant nothing bad at all.
Props for sharing.
That is just a crazy light rom. :)
When you say warnings, did you add SDKCerts?

Anyone try this one on alltel (not vzw) I am in the soon to be ATT area... yet? I am looking for a stripped base to customize myself. Maybe I am the Alltel guinea pig... gonna download it and procrastinate the testing since it took me 10 or 12 flashes of various roms to finally find one (skirom/maxdust) that worked well and took the alltel mms fix well...

will lwt you know how it runs....

I have a new SlimRoot Sense 2.1 rom that is lightning fast and I have included all carrier support.
If you like Sense give it a try. If your MMS doesn't work right OTB just open Messaging Options and select your carrier.
You should not have to install or remove anything.

I am gonna flash this rom and give er a spin as well.
Titanium can be very fast.
I want to see what it can do and I will report back.

Thanks to OP for sharing your work.
Smallest working rom I have ever heard about. :)

Two main questions here.

Does this have the internet sharing hack in it (I'd think so if it's built off JD's, but ye never know)

Is the Office Mobile 2010 stable? I tried downloading it and put it on JD's build a few months ago and the thing took all my OneNote's with it and I had to reflash it to get rid of it (Hard Reset didn't even work)

Cheers,
Celt

Firstly, thanks for creating this ROM.

I ran into two issues with the latest build.

- No data connection. I was able to fix this by manually creating a my ISP connection dialing into #777.

- SMS 2016 fix not baked in. The official HTC patch doesn't let me install detecting the phone is on a wrong version.

Thanks!

I don't know what to tell you dude, the SPCS Connection Setup runs when the ROM first boots up, I've never had any problems with the data connection. Maybe a bad flash?

Also, the official HTC patch is for stock ROMs so I don't even know if I can cook it in but I'll give it a look-see (didn't even know they had a fix out yet really haha)

Yes, internet sharing should work.
Aaaaaaaand I'm pretty sure Office 2010 is stable, I don't use it a whole lot but I haven't had trouble with it.
