Did Sense get cooked in?
Why would enative position fix need to be cooked in with no Sense cooked in?
Also that fix is no longer needed on new Sense 2.5 ports.

Just wondering.

Re: [ROM] [3/1] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

No need to do that.
There is always room. :)
Not everyone will think any one rom is the best.
Just do what you do.
There are probably better roms than mine but I still keep cooking.
Just have fun and let the members choose the rom they want. ;)

I figured we were probably doing the same thing but with the growing shortage of choices I went ahead and offered mine too. It's no competition, just trying to give back some while I wait for the series 7 phones. Keep up the good work!

I will try them both, but the last time, I tried swinn's when it was a sprint only, it kept wanting to activate something.

I'm just havin fun man :) I thought the whole thing was an amusing coincidence. It's always nice to have more people cooking for the touch pro!

That's what I say.
It should be a fun hobby that we can share with other people.
We always have room to make them better.
Chef's should learn from each other and just have fun.
Good job to you both.

The answer to your question is in the first post :) Haha it's JD's Kitchen, but other's like Calkulin's and dcd's are great too (I'd start with Calk's actually)

Just by looking at the reg entries, it appears to work for programs that have an issue with the start menu on the bottom; such as Resco.

Code:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\WM65xFix]
"ManilaLaunchFix"=dword:00000001
"WindowClasses"="Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS;RESCO_REGISTRY_CLASS"

Re: [ROM] [3/1] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

Im in love with this, however Im getting MSCR errors. ie: "The file 'App1' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file." the error title is App1.mscr. Also had an issue with titanium weather due to mscr and msrun files. i installed mortscript, didnt fix anything. I also used the reg hack on page 2, enablerapi, still no luck.

any ideas?

Well the enablerapi reg hack equivalent is cooked in now so that's not the issue. I've never seen or heard of anything like this before... My guesses would be that maybe the weather doesn't play nicely with CHome but what's probably happening is missing prerequisites for the app... What apps does this happen with?

Re: [ROM] [3/1] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

This is a nice ROM; I like how clean it is. One thing I've done so far is added a registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Voice Command\Speech

DWORD: BluetoothPTTDelay with a value of 2000 to delay the voice command prompt. For some reason on this ROM when I press the voice command key on my Jawbone Icon headset, the beep from the phone happens too soon and I can't hear the prompt. Adding that key and soft resetting provides the headset with 2 seconds to get the audio gateway opened, so I hear the VC prompt consistently now. If anyone else has that problem, that's the fix.

The only other thing I see right away is the missing BT icon that someone else mentioned already. I know it works, but I've always been a bit paranoid since WM tends to turn off BT on its own now and then. Without the icon there's no way to tell if BT is actually working.

Overall a very well done ROM; very clean and light!

Re: [ROM] [3/1] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

Great rom so far, Thank You for your work. Is there any solution to programs not closing when the x is pressed? I have noticed this on every 6.5 rom there is. By the end of the day I end up having 10 or more programs running (like google maps) and my battery gets toasted. I end up having to use task manager to close everything through out the day and its getting cumbersome. Is there an easy solution to this problem?

Thanks.

Re: [ROM] [3/14] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

New ROM up guys, check it out! Updates are shown in the changelog.

Also, I've really wanted to remove IE because it sucks lol but I haven't been able to remove it without breaking other applications. Is IE really a requirement for that many apps? There has to be a sneaky way around it, maybe some sort of dummy package? If anyone knows, give me a shout :)

Re: [ROM] [3/14] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

Had to post to say thank you for this ROM...it really made my day. I have a VZW TP with a screen that doesn't work I am stuck using SOTI Pocket Controller Pro to see what the hell I'm doing. I'm only using it for internet sharing which had worked great until I had to hard reset the device and could not get past the unnecessary, "allign the screen" part of the initial boot process of the ROM I was using...cause I can't see anything. So very frustrating](*,). So I went ROM shopping and was lucky enough to download and boot yours...which much to my joy skipped that part and allowed me to have at least a partially working device again. Plus it shaved some ram usage off too! Great job and thanks again.

Re: [ROM] [3/14] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23529

I have not been able to get internet sharing to work. Im not doing anything different from other roms I have used. Using XP, I can see it trying to get an IP address, but it never does. Is anyone else having this problem?

Also, I have never seen phone as modem under the network connection. I have tried both sprint and phone as modem and so far have not been able to get it working.

For me, I plug in the USB cable, choose Internet Sharing, hit the okay button, the phone connects, and everything is just dandy. I don't know what your problem could be.

Mine has worked great since I booted it a few days ago. May I suggest a few things. Try hard resetting the device especially if you haven't since you first booted the ROM (I've read about many issues being solved just by doing this). After that I usually go in this order:

1. Active Sync to PC
2. Turn your data connection on if it's not already (you should have arrows over your signal bars)
3. Open internet sharing and press connect (this should disconnect active sync and start an internet connection on your computer)

In this ROM Sprint = Data Connect and there should be no reason to use the phone as a modem option as far as I know (perhaps that option is for those without data connections:scratch:). Also of note nearly ever ROM I've ever tried in the last year has that as an option in Internet Sharing.

Well that's about as deep as my knowledge pool goes so I hope this helps.

Thanks for all the replies. Im not new to roms or internet sharing on the touch pro. This is the first rom that has ever given me problems. Its a shame too, I like this rom and how clean it is. (I cant stand all the space that the htc interface takes up.)

Thanks!

And thanks for an awesome ROM. It is the most stable and efficient of the 6.5.x ROMs.

I do run SPBMobileShell on top of it for a more convenient interface. Your ROM is a better match for it than any other I've tried.

Thanks!

Re: [ROM] [5/2] Bazzle's CLEAN ROMs 23563

Doh!

Just downloaded using the link on the first post in this forum. The file size is larger than the one I used earlier today. The version is from 5/2 6:30pm. The camera app is there, but when I run it an error message appears stating the certificate is invalid or a component needed to run the app is missing.

Tried installing the vogue camera using a cab and it too had the same error.
