It's easy enough to add the MS apps manually if you are trying to save ROM space. I thought it was an older Google Maps, my apologies.

Standard Update coming today for C5 ROM. C8 on hold until i can find a proper sys rollup. Honestly.. have been having one of those sessions where you investigate problem x... learn about Y and Z, while getting nowhere on issue X. LOL.

Whats in the update?? Well the M$ apps are back and organizied, Widget Support in this one too, and just because I can do it... The Return of Opera10 and a FULLY FUNTIONAL Album 3.2. It really works!! Sys bump to 23549, GrooveMobileA5, Total Cmdr 2.52b2 and of course.. Xtask, now 2.2. The C2 update will be a while because the album equation is a bit different. Stay TUNED!!!

Cooking new COM2 ROM build 21897 ... This project has a life of its own..LOL. Its Turning into a HUGE update, then I'll have to go back and update the C5.

@akastixx ... That behavoir is intentional, its an Xtask setting. To disable it Xhook settings page 1 uncheck "hidden part of the title text"

Like I said .. the update is getting BIG. First thing i will do when i get back home is cab the original slider settings.


**EDIT** Wierd things happen when you cook things in... I dont get it. I MADE the slider and tested it via cab... All I SHOULD have to do is cab the original values.... The cab Isnt working... idk -.- Its ok I guess... I'll leave it out or have it autoinstall via cab next run so it will be removable. Actually I might just leave it out. I'm porting again... It takes time... but I REALLY want this slider. Also Playing with the comm mgr ... Im a functionality nut. I'd LIKE to get the ROM out in 24hrs, but I'm cleaning, backing up AND re-organizing the kitchen So that going forward supporting split COM branches will be easier. Its gonna be a bit..and YES there ARE updates LOL... Alpha Software... Grrr.

I have to say in the last two weeks i've flashed just about every rom out there to find my fav and i have to say barring a few small glitches this is it. Thank you for your hard work that being said here are my problems.

1. I c ant find the setting to disable the default lock so when i use s2u2 some times its double locked.

2. on the phone dialer the call log button is obscuring the contacts button

3. The in call curtain dosn't come up all the way when i'm not in vga mode in cookie

those are just some of the minor things ive come across but overall awesome ROM thank you

OK COM2 Is UP!!! New Comm Mgr... a splash of color here and there and an invisible/ transparant slider. GrooveMoblie Updated to Alpha6.

@ M.G. Its been a LOOnnng Time since i used s2u2. I'll check my kitchen to see if the setting isnt disabled somewhere. Issues 2 and 3 have to do with phcanvga and 6.5.3. Reset should fix the curtain issue.... I used to get it alot w bluetooth on but not so much anymore... OH on that note the losing BT headset icon after call glitch should be taken care of. I've just located a bunch of dialers with the call log button bug supposedly fixed. It i can fing a working combination you'll see those next release, 23551 or 23554.

**EDIT** COM2 lovers may not like me... but since im in COM2 mode 21898 will be released later tonight or tomorrow early. Normally I wouldnt update immediately JUST for a sys bump but I found a PROPER rollup so there SHOULD be a speed increase based on that factor alone.

In other news... as soon as touchXperience goes public beta... NxP ROMS may go NO MANILA. Fair warning. =D
