Thats not history... thats RUNNING programs, like windows desktop taskbar. Thats All XTask, well that portion is Xhook -.-

edit... curious to know whats not closing??

... then I find programs are not closing when tapping x. Is it set to tap n hold? Is there an option to go to change it?

I am really digging your ROM so far
Using COM 5 version with 24mb PP on Sprint - you may keep me off Lunacie with this ROM!!

Have one thing that has never happened on other ROMs before though and did not see anyone else note this in thread

When Syncing outlook tween work outlook and home outlook - Calendar entries do not move over? Never had this happen till this ROM any ideas - sorry if this is a total Noob question

Should be set to just tap2close... gonna flash over to C5 now. After checking my SD card for any old xtask settings backups. Need to redo second post in this reguard as MUCH has changes since i wrote that tutorial.

For your issue check your Xtask settings. To get there, open up the tskmgr or filemgr using a hotspot swipe (or full screen hook "top2bottom") then tap the white down arrow. then system/settings. Make sure x close window is checked.. and Realtime 6.5.3

**EDIT** Well i got the time to play with opera 10 beta 3. They fixed the godawful slow text input.. and the flash support is decent So next update will have the new opera as default browser. GrooveMobile will be updated and VNC viewer removed. I also need to do a brutal trimming run on the kitchen, gotta keep it clean. Its actually pretty good just need to properly compress images and remove any unused png's. Guess I'll do the root type cascade upgrade, So the COM8..now coming tomorrow I PROMISE, will have the updated apps then I'll update the other 2.

Yes - it synced with the Win Xp -office 2007 - active sync calendar checked, but trying to sync those items to vista - office 2007 - win device manager - no go? nothing transfers from device to desktop outlook - all checked with settings of 1 month prior and all future appts. to sync?

Yep, MMS is awesome, great work.

I found a thread over @XDA that talked about the weather update issue. Apparently the server goes down every now and then. I just renamed HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\WeatherServerOverride to WeatherServerOverride.old and it started working. There must be another default server that it uses. I always have to change to 1x to get weather location working. I use WMLonglife and it helps out with battery as well.

Surfing seems to be hit or miss. It is strange some apps work and others don't. I can't get Netflix to connect, IE and Opera work, though. I use MyPhone and Windows Live so I downloaded Marketplace to try to install those and it keeps saying it encountered a serious error and I should contact MS if I still can't login in a few hours [not]. I am going to remove WMLonglife and try again; it hasn't caused issues in the past, but you never know.

Couple of things I noticed if you do respin:
1. Mode of Operation tab missing in Phone->Services. Need that for band switching to work. Regedit brings it back.
2. Cookie is set to WVGA (intentional?)
3. Bottom task icons in Total Commander are too wide. I saw this on initial 6.5 builds a while back. Don't know if cooks res edit to fix that.
4. Older Google Maps, no MyPhone, Live or Marketplace?
5. QuickGPS "Download" button moved up too high?
6. I'm sure you worked hard on it, but is there any way to keep the slider from retracting? Really like to see the text/email tab counts.
7. SYM key on keyboard doesn't do anything (no supported IM loaded?).

Overall, very nice ROM. Like the folder/icon layout, and having MMS is awesome. Like the xTask as well.

Seems Marketplace doesn't like not RTM AKU's. Searched around and found that if I added a period in front of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Versions\Aku so it is ".5.2.23547 by NextPimp" now Marketplace works.

Not a Myphone fan... Windows live either. LOL, but I will incorporate those into the next set. Starting w/C8 . As far as the observations..

1. OK.. Simple enough.. will add reg key to the kitchen... when i find it LOL. Be kind enough to post??? May save a bit of time.

2. Cookie WVGA IS intentional... Actually im playing with modding cookies mod to do a 2x3 landscape... If cookie doesnt do it for me first.

3. Heard of a TC update... gonna check it out

4. You want the old google maps??? If so i kno why but trying to keep this rom current ... bleeding edge like. If you mean included an old version??? Sorry just d/l whatever version is currently on google.. If theres a newer version on like a phone rom or something then just point me to it.

4.5 The MSN apps can make a return... Thats gonna tak a bit of time in re-organizing... hmmm... maybe i can cheat. I DO miss bing

5. Investigating.

6. I agree.... Not having the txt/email counts is the 1 thing i dont like about rt slider. I've seen a solution or two just havent played with them yet to Include them in a rom. If its a pleazzzee itz gotta GO!!! thing... I can make you a cab with the stock values... or increase the time-out a lil. Just let me know.

7. LOL ... I said "when you cook for yourself...." a few posts ago. IDK what that key DOES LOL.. Never .. Ever used it. Playing though have some ideas as to where too look.

Finally.. Will fix the AKU thing with the Proper AKU. Didn't realize anything actually read the value.

Is there a fix for the contacts not showing up whenever i try to compose a new msg in the Msg tab? But other than that, your Rom totally rocks =)

To fix the contact list when sending a text, use registry editor and delete the following folders:
"HKLM\Security\Contacts\Chooser"
"HKLM\Security\Contacts\PropertyPicker"
