This is that taskbar I use you need both files or your signal gauge will be all screwy.

It appears that a PP of 6 is the best for you Verizons users, but you are still trying to run a "big" ROM on a gimped phone so you may still have errors. I'd suggest trying ahuskins Sense 2.1 ROM. It doesnt have the visual mods of Max or Dusk but it's "lighter" and extremely fast and stable.

well tried sense 2.1 rom with pp of 6 and unable to run skyfire still. getting the low on memory screen again. this is a great rom but not for the VZW touch pro is my guess from what ive been seeing. maybe i will try again on the next update or version.

Obviously not a huge issue, but its a neat feature. The only ROM I have seen this work in is Lunacie's... This rom is a little more stable for me than his was.

we've been talking about this for a little while now, thanks for reporting. we are aware its an issue & we can probably use another version of the FacebookSDK.dll but we may lose some functionality such as the albums link.

not sure what ahuskins will decide is best. but if you care, please chime in

I have the same problem. But I did have it working in NRG's rom. Not sure what is different about them.

Got a few questions for anyone that whats to stab at it...I'm familiar with flashing so that's not an issue. What I wonder is is when you flash a rom like this rom, seeing I have Sprint, do I have to do anything else to set it up for sprint useage? How is this one bug wise? 2.1 or 2.5? I'm looking for better than stock performance and bug wise...Thanks....

Seems like the version of Google Maps that comes with the ROM is bugged on location detection:

Hi everyone,We're still working on getting a version out that address GPS and My Location issues on HTC phones. Thanks for your patience with this issue.
I'm also seeing this on mine, where my location is not working unless I use GPS.

Bugs? Dude, ahuskins kitchen is so clean you could eat off of the floors in there.
It is one of the best Flash-N-Go ROMs out there, especialy for Sprint.
Check out the first post to see the features of each ROM.
There is a small issue currently with the 2.5 ROMs in that the new volume control appears to have knocked out the ability to mute a call with the side volume controls. Insignificant IMO. ahuskins is on da ball and is very quick to update.
So.....JUST FLASH IT ALREADY!!!!!!!! :headbang:
You wont be sorry

I'm also seeing this on mine, where my location is not working unless I use GPS.

It works for me... of course by "works" I mean that it shows me within 95000 Meters of my location
This was the case on the older version of Google Maps as well for me.
So I've always used GPS with Google Maps, just thought that was the norm.
Question-why would you use Google Maps without GPS? Satellite signal issues I suppose?

Ya, I'm seeing the 95000 meters too. That's pretty far

When AGPS is working properly with Google Maps, it has a ballpark location for you within a second of opening the applications, and seems to work even if you're indoors as long as you have cell reception.

I think, though I'm not sure, that with that it also acquires GPS signal faster.

All around it's pretty sweet. That said, the new ability to sync locations automatically between maps.google.com on your computer and Google Maps on the phone is pretty amazing. I can't wait until Google fixes this bug.
