What rom are you running? If you are trying to turn off cookies lock screen if I am not mistaking on CHT 1.7 you have to go in the CHT editor also and go to lockscreen settings.

I am using 1.8 so I am not sure if its the same on 1.7.

To turn off touch response go to settings then system then touch response should be at the bottom

Currently im not using CHT but I may start just to get around it.

what lock screen are you trying to turn off if you are not using CHT? the standard manila lock screen should only be active if you turned it on and the other lock screen is the lockscreen you get after pressing start and then pressing the lock icon at the botom not sure of any others being set to come on by default.

you should probably post a screenshot of the lock screen you are trying to turn off

MaxDarkRoot has been gone for a while.
Cookie IMO is much better with more options.
My kitchen has been posted and you can create MaxRoot with it if you so wished.
If I get time I will pack up the packages for it and an erv file.

You are right in that the standard lock screen should be off because it actually is turned off.

I turned it "on" to see what would happen and it's still going into lock screen anytime the backlight turns off.

It's not CHT because when I try to use CHT editor a message comes up to remind me that I first need to install CHT editor.

The vibrate on the push of a button is on as well even though it is "off"

I suspect everyone's moved on to Energy. His rom's are working very well, btw. Loved your rom too, but life has it's priorities, doesn't it!

I'm still running a barely modified version I cooked in your kitchen when I use my Pro. Been playing with Froyo on my Vogue and when the DesireHD comes out I'm jumping to the little green robot for good.
