PPCGeeks - [ROM] ROOTROM and Themed roms - Sense 2.5 - SMS/MMS - Sashimi Compliant

My bad, I thought it was already out. Heard some stuff with taskbar problems, mms video problems, etc. and then nothing for like 24hrs, didn't want to setup another flash that was a problemo (sorry, Arizona, didn't mean to dis ya... NOT!). Have a good holiday weekend, folks

No taskbar "problems" IMO. The only SLIGHT "issue" is the roaming icon appears to show as the Wifi icon...sometimes.

I posted that question almost 2 months ago and found my own answer. Here is an article comparing black and white power screens on 24 lcd screens of various sizes and only 2 tested to use less energy running a black screen.

As for Blackle.com, their claims that having a black background conserves energy was proven to be inaccurate since half of the screens that were used for the test were CRT screen. CRT!? Seriously!? Here is the article:

Anyway, I prefer whiteRoot because it's easy on the eyes...especially on sunny days like Root said a while back.:joker:

ANY of roots 2.5 ROMS rock! The XXXDark is probably the closest version to what you are looking for. IMO the Co0kie Home mod is better and more functional than the Max mod.

works like a charm christian! thanks a ton. that was the only reason i switched away from the stock whiteroot taskbar was because the clock was unreadable. switched back now :D

is anyone having trouble using the built in wi-fi router with the white ROM? I know for sure that the first time i used it, it worked fine. but since then, everytime i click on the wi-fi router, it just hangs, nothing happens... anyone know any fix out there or maybe i am doing something wrong... i am on sprint if it makes any difference.
