If someone can shed some light for me, I wouldn't mind trying this rom again =)

I had the exact same problem when I first started flashing (except not quite everyone got a text - only about 20 or so peeps), and it has NOTHING to do with a bad flash! (+1 for drdrewdown on that bad-flash business  ) I was flashing to an Energy ROM then btw. In my case the txts were actually previously sent ones (so my friends were getting old duplicates that had hilarious things like directions to the bowers museum, "sprint needs to call you to reprogram your phone - I gave them your work #", or "LS120 is the biggest flop of a floppy"). Turns out most of those were in this weird "conversations" folder, but some of them were in the regular sent items. I finally figured it out - some of the txt's had a strange flag attached. Here's what I did to permanently fix it:

1. Backup with PIMBackup (in text mode)
2. Edit messages file with the following edits (I think I used wordpad, excel dorks up)
3. Delete all messages listed as being in \\Conversations, \\%MDF2, \\%MDF4 and \\%MDF5 - they're duplicates, MMS, or drafts
4. Delete all messages flagged as IPM.Conversation
5. Replace ";33;?????;" with ;1;; (works like a charm)
6. Delete anything marked MMS (PIMBackup doesn't keep the attachments anyway)
7. Save - stick back in the zip file and happily restore after flashing!

I haven't had a problem since I did the cleanup - well, except my 1500+ text messages slowing down my touch flo :angry7:, yeah yeah - I'm working on it...

Rootykins,
So I am back on board. Haven't used a rootrom for about a month - work required I had to have a slightly more "tame" mod that had less features but not on the "cutting edge" where things get iffy sometimes.

Anyways, I tried looking back to see if someone mentioned this but couldnt find it. When I try setting an alarm, I click on the home screen "Alarm Off" and it gives me a short cut issue. I found where you alarm is normally and when I set, it shows up on the home screen properly ("5:45AM" etc). Just a heads up.

Also I am glad you found a way to include "sound alarms even when device is in silent or vibrate" - havent seen that since stock and makes my life a lot easier! Can ignore midnight emails but still wake up on time!

Is there any way to change the way you select times for alarms and appointments? Currently you have to use those annoying "scroll wheels" to cycle up and many of my appointments occur on the :35 and :55 and having to scroll allllll the way there is a bit time consuming as opposed to just directly entering the time.

Great roms as always and glad to be back on board!

If you open CHTEditor ---> Applications and change the alarm to point to G-Alarm, that should fix your alarm issue....as for the others not sure. Good Luck

I liked these ROMs a lot. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get my phone to last more than 6 hours without a hard reset - not really tolerable. I tried XXXRootRomLS_04182010_23540 and XXXDarkRootLS_04182010_23540. Same thing with both. Didn't see anything similar on the page, so I assume my refurbished TP from Ebay is to blame. But, it is a very nice ROM. thanks.

i just recently started using my Seidio 1500mA battery alot more often than stock battery and after charging it and using it up all the way a few times, i had the most amazing battery life ever today. i took my phone off charge at 12 noon YESTERDAY and just had to plug it in to charge at 3:30 PM TODAY (it was at 13%). absolutely awesome. 27 1/2 hours +

I get 27 on my ext battery also.
About 8-15 on standard. Depends on usage and signal.

It was on stock ROM (+ panoramic Manila), beforehand, but I'll give it a shot. There seems to be mixed reviews on whether that has any effect.
Thanks
