Did I not add softkeys to Slim?
If not just choose a theme from the today settings.
I have added several to choose from.

I tried the all the available themes on the baseroot. And only one of them changed the soft key bar from the circles to a washed out clear one with no circles. All the other others just changed the colors kept the circles.

If I'm not wrong the Red Rom taskbar need it a fix for cdma.
I posted a picture and had to change the taskbar.

How do I get appointments back on home screen?

Also, I have not flashed since 2/25 rootrom and the 3/26 rom seems sluggish. Just me?

Go into CHT( Co0kie's Home Tab) Editor and and make selections under Show Appointments;
sounds like you want Always Show or Auto Hide=only shows when you have a pending appt-you can also customize how many days it'll look ahead if you scroll down to Appointment Range.

On the one you said was sluggish, make sure page pool is at 0.
There is an older one I may have set at 6.

I found these over at xda. I did not make them or guarantee they work. I do use them and they work great! I obviously changed the system icons and the slider icons as well.

Make sure you install the cabs in the order the developer indicates in his posts. There are other color taskbars to choose from as well.

Checked those taskbars and they work great.
Expect new updates for Dark and RedRum this week as soon as I get time.
Will be using the green and red taskbars from that link.
Finally a dusk taskbar that works. ;)
