I HAD similar battery life as Dave on the last XXXDark. My Carbon battery life is good but not as good as it was.

I dont run Lumos, never have on rootROM.

Flashing a new radio MAY help.

I am on Carbon and granted I have an extended battery. 30% claimed longer life.
Took my device off charge yesterday morning around 8:30ish and I am now at 50%
Have made several calls, checked email, texts and browsed the web.
Was not home last night to charge it.
Pretty good I think. :)

Actually I do have a few tricks.

First, Signal. I have an Airave in my house so my phone is not constantly searching for a signal.

I have set my weather and location services to check for updates every 6 hours and disabled updates while roaming. I sync my calendar and email manually rather than a set schedule. This is probably the most important as far as saving battery.

Screen brightness on battery is set to auto. (I think that root has that as a default.)

Radio: I usually flash the Verizon radio but hadn't done so yet as the sprint radio is giving good battery life. I may try that later though.

Battery: I never really let it get below 25% on average. I carry a spare battery just in case. I have disabled "Fast Charge" too.

BTW, I just checked and I'm at 48%. =D>

NOt sure if its my phone or the ROM but my G-Sensor is not functioning. If I have it in camera/photos, it stays in portrait when the phone is rotated. Same in music.

I tried using the g-sensor program in settings and it does nothing. It says "g-sensor" for a split second in the upper left of the task bar then goes away. G-sensor program does not open though.

Anyone else with the same issue?

Sensor should work in Camera mode but it has not worked in album for a very long time.
Has not worked for me since the old TF3D 2.1 days on NRG roms.
You can use FlipIt or Gyrator to make Music tab flip.
You can also map Rotate to the long press send key.

Oh-oh! I know red is used to draw attention to items but I am one of those guys that can hardly see red letters on black or black on red...

On another note, what does Carbon have over the 02/25 ROMs? Or do I wait for your next update (don't forget the updated Sprint Nav and Facebook).

Like the rest... I'm sticking to your ROMs. Great job.
